True the right place at the right time, however had they not picked up the previous two material acquisitions this option wouldn't have been open to them. Also they could have refused this deal and kept the $4.2m, but with $30m of infrastructure and almost 5mmboe of 2P it was a deal hard to refuse given the small % of cash flow they had to use.

I think this recent deal is very lucky, they had the right to buy out this stake if it was changing hands and as a small part of a larger portfolio changing hands they had the right to buy or could have tied the deal up in a legal mess .....

Very impressive management here for sure, focused on the right things and know where the drivers are in their porty. They're still very much on the M&A trail in Canada and are taking opportunities to increase their production and reserves on the cheap rather than just focus on drilling wells. These two new well completions could bring in an additional 700bopd in the near term without drilling as well as all those new future well locations after the acquisition is integrated.

They also realize the importance and quality of Serenity, I guess that's why there are multiple parties involved in those talks. Future looks very rosy from this point.

Base,

From the shopping list that is i3e's final results there's plenty of news to come this month alone from spudding clearwater wells, tie in of Noel well, completion of this latest acquisition, most of the dates for the restructure which concludes 1st of July. Perhaps an update on the Serenity farmout fingers crossed. The share price at the moment I see as a good thing not a bad thing. There's no way I or the rest of us would have bought as many of these as I/we currently have had the share price stayed at 30p+. Imo its only a matter of time before the twitterati get a hold of this one and send the share price back up to where it should be. Until then they're right at the top of my buy list.
