31/10/2019 11:36 | You've got to feel for those poor investors that bought in early on the back of the cracking RNS only to get a very quick & painful induction into the 'i3e shareholder experience'Hope they get some decent rewards in the end | ![]() begorrah88
31/10/2019 11:28 | There can't be many better uses for a big pot of cash that one oiler holds than to dump all over the share price of a vulnerable neighbour who you might be looking to take out in the near future.MM's and murky II's always keen to wheel & deal in the Wild West of AIM | ![]() begorrah88

31/10/2019 11:22 | The time of greatest risk for i3e to keep out of the clutches of that predator, RRE, is between now and confirmation of the SDF in December. After that, the price goes up very significantly, to do a deal. | ![]() divmad
31/10/2019 11:10 | With our debts and sunk costs reckon cheeky bid of 70p from rre coming soon, similar to iog now in some ways, iog style. | ![]() russiaguru

31/10/2019 10:07 | It has flipped around now. Pre Liberator pilot drill, it was Liberator being a given due to previous find and Serenity was a bonus. Now Serenity is a confirmed find and Liberator need to be proved up. I agree, the asset of Serenity at this early stage is far more than the current market cap. Plenty of upside potential with Liberator. Bit of patience needed as Lombard are still selling and until that stops, we will get nowhere near realistic current value. Time to sit it out and wait for it to come together. Worst case situation, Liberator fails completely and Serenity sells for more than the current market cap. Take comfort from the facts that the drilling company are happy to take deferred payments. They are no fools. They see value as does Baker Hughes taking shares at 56p | ![]() showmethemoneyhoney01
31/10/2019 09:49 | Divmad, an asset is an asset. Serenity is an asset. Could you not believe that the value of Serenity to RRE is at least as much as the current market cap of i3, ie £35m? They'd bite your hand off for three times that. Agree that the likely bottom support for this is 32p, the price following the initial failed drill. How crazy is that, that the low price we're expecting following a significant oil discovery is the same price after it was confirmed that there was no oil discovery? What a perverse situation. | ![]() hairballradical
31/10/2019 09:49 | Well done to those selling ahead of today's I3E presentation. | ![]() che7win
31/10/2019 09:46 | The same day we announce a world class find at Serenity, the same day RRE releases RNS about it. They will need to work with us on this, it will be an option no doubt at these prices that they simply take us over. They have abundant cash to do so. Then we have the JV partner, they will be following us as they were keen to be our partners last year. They must be kicking themselves to have let us slip through their fingers. We can throw off £182m profits next year once RBL triggered next month....what market cap would you out on that.... | ![]() che7win
31/10/2019 09:36 | Down she goes. No stopping the dog. Tick tock the clock of doom is ticking. No change any form of funding will be signed off this year. Massive default on junior facilities. Shareholder wipeout inevitable | shorterofdoom
31/10/2019 09:15 | DIvmad, That is true, the next well is important to unlock SDF. However, Serenity on its own is of similar magnitude to Liberator, Serenity on its own is worth 80p per share right now. It has necessitated RRE releasing an RNS on the same day we announced, they must be watching us like a hawk. Your point is valid, if next well is successful, we have a clear path to production next year. That production at 20k boepd would be throwing off 182m pounds profits before tax at current Brent, or three times current fully diluted market cap each year. Bizarre anomaly here in the share price. | ![]() che7win
31/10/2019 09:04 | I agree with your calculations, che7win, but the important factor you have omitted is the absolute necessity for the next pilot well to come in as expected, and thereby unlock the RBL facility in December. | ![]() divmad
31/10/2019 08:56 | I reckon if RRE offered one pound per share now for the entire business, there would be enough mug holders to sell out to them. Very disappointing. WHI has 268p valuation on Serenity on success, so 80p seems fair now ahead of further appraisal. However, glad to be buying in the market this week alongside ones I was buying at 18p. Not a chance I will be selling any for the foreseeable future. | ![]() che7win

31/10/2019 08:52 | 30-35% recoverable, (70 mbbls), usually discovered oil are valued at $2-3 per barrel on ground. At the moment, market is not giving any value to the discovered oil, which is surprising element | ![]() mynameiskhan
31/10/2019 08:51 | Jgandolfi, For our latest find in Serenity. If they drain ~70m barrels at £20 profit per barrel is 1.4 billion profit. Even if valued at £5 in ground, which no reason why it shouldn’t being near to infrastructure, it’s worth 350m, or 230p per share. Liberator STOIP has just doubled from before, so it’s a double whammy if good news this week. I’m surprised why we aren’t at 80p, shocking that we are BELOW the price before drilling, yet found a massive oil field this week. | ![]() che7win
31/10/2019 08:47 | It's not all recoverable the 197mm is an estimate, could be more, most fields usually end up double first estimates, also some end up less than estimated. Once the crude samples are confirmed same as Tain and established fact same reservoir, expect things to get hot here especially if lib comes in as prognosis... | ![]() d1nga |
