20/9/2019 12:33 | Some truly silly comments today. They have money and time to drill both wells. Serenity is upside to Liberator. It is not part of phase 1 development. They were going to drill it and now they will drill it ahead of A3 while they get data together. A3 will be a discovery as it is drilling into the centre of an already discovered oil accumulation. The question is where is the best place to drill and they are now using all the data they can get to logically find this out. Serenity has a very good chance at success and will value shares in the £'s on a success case. Some may not have wanted to be in for serenity and others will want to be in. As this moves forward, the market will find its feet and move forward. What the management have done at this point is OK in my book. Drill Serenity prospect and then go back to A3 once they have had a good look at the data. They have plenty of time and money to get everything done. | flawlesskicks
20/9/2019 12:32 | When this situation happened with JOG it only took a week to decide to sidetrack... so why does everyone think it is rushed when they have a month to evaluate? | nametrade
20/9/2019 12:32 | the abbot, 25-30days is not enough time for them to properly assess the new model, they are rushing to fit drillrig time slot. That is premature. To properly calibrate and build a new model takes months. Cash | cashandcard
20/9/2019 12:30 | The whole point of this project is to get first oil via liberator. Serenity is a distraction and actually a relatively new addition for the company and therefore should be the lowest priority. People need to stop quoting COS figures and look at how this company is making poor decisions and communicating poorly with the market. | saw89
20/9/2019 12:27 | Risk reward here is a buy at 15p, I'm out for a small loss from 26.9. Management are chuckle brothers. | stockport loser
20/9/2019 12:27 | the abbot, LA-03 is going to be drilled prematurely. Cash | cashandcard
20/9/2019 12:26 | It's refining/confirming the current understanding, why should that take so long? | tsmith2
20/9/2019 12:24 | I honestly think they will have only a rushed understanding of the new modelling. Its a pretty dire situation. I would rather they try and get out of the contract at minimum cost than drill a well they are about to go 'red-or-black' on. What on earth can they do in about 25-30days but get a rushed understanding of what the latest seismic data makes out to them, it smacks of incompetence - the geo guy/s must go after this debacle. Cash | cashandcard
20/9/2019 12:23 | A lot of ifs and buts judging by recent activity I'd say best to bailNow and let it settle before buying back in Lombard still selling out | jammydodger1
20/9/2019 12:20 | 20p soon folks hold on | jammydodger1
20/9/2019 12:14 | why should we trust them to gamble the company on Serenity. If serenity fails and there’s further delays with no time left to go drill A3 , it’s bust. We all have our own take on this but from my perepsective this is a worrying development. Pair of clowns | saw89
20/9/2019 12:12 | why Tony, money is being made either way, don't you know how mm' makes theirs? | rumobejo
20/9/2019 12:07 | Long John Silver treasure map hahaha | alexios1201
20/9/2019 12:06 | Yep they’ve pushed this to bust or boom Can see a lot selling down to teens | ducati2345
20/9/2019 12:04 | Sbb1x, you mean 20p? | rumobejo
20/9/2019 12:03 | saw89 - how is that any different from the situation when we were trading at 55p? All we have done is drill a pilot well - the two main wells are still to be drilled and obviously, if they are dusters then teens but if they strike then £'s. That's oil for you! Don't risk more than you can afford to lose but I like the prospect of the next two drills! I will remain invested for the results of both. | flawlesskicks
20/9/2019 12:02 | Quite clear to see what the market thinks of today's very flakey RNSThey should have been open & honest with the market about why the JV collapsed & why not a single other party wanted anything to do with I3E after visiting their data room. | begorrah88
20/9/2019 12:02 | Tournesol, My thoughts exactly. Why wouldn't you always buy and use the latest seismic data? Granted you wouldn't expect too much change but as has been proven, metres out is costly. What on earth data were they using, Long John Silver treasure map? COS more like POS. 20/9/2019 12:01 | I would look at this as the prudent move? Get as much information as you can and add it to the info you have just obtained and then work on the best way forward. The A3 drill is an important one and having the best location to drill is the most important piece of information. Surely they can't be criticised for making the next decision based on all available info? While they do this, let us get on with Serenity as it is not linked to Liberator and has a very good upside for share holders. Market having a wobble again over nothing. We knew they were either drilling Serenity or A3...lol Personally, I'm very much looking forward to the Serenity drill! | flawlesskicks
20/9/2019 12:00 | It wouldn’t surprise me if the price moves into the teens | saw89 |
