Sbb1x,

Fair value 60p ? Let me get this straight, the company manages to miss the oil bearing sands completely that a historical well found and you think fair value is higher than what it was before the failed well. Hmmm

I think they tried to get to cute on the pilot drill position believing the seismic to be 100%. Should have been a little bit more cautious..won't have long to wait, I suspect Monday or Tuesday next week along with news of spudding of serenity or liberator west wed/thurs

"Wait for the next 2 drills! The big ones"

Where are they drilling those? Irish Sea?

The contract is based on a time charter of 93 days regardless of how many wells they drill. Once that time has hit its finished unless parties agree to extend and Dolphin get paid the day rate.

It’s clear in the permit which is in the public domain, A3 is 41 days. If you can’t be bothered researching it’s your fault.

Ask the board to confirm what is in the permit and how the charter is structured.

Yes senior debt is effected but good results on other drills will probably make that redundant

Costa,

Why are they drilling them on someone elses field ?

I just hope a different person chose the locations.

VSP Friday will help prove up the channel.Next two wells are the game changers, I expect a strong bounce as upside potential is unchanged by their poor drilling location choice.

No impact on next 2 wells (LA-03 & SA-01) ?Might see reserves drop by few mmbbl (2-4 max) ?Pilot well & VSP will help optimise LP-02 next year?No financial implications?Hold your nerves

Thanks Jung.

But doesn't the senior debt come into question now as this drill was supposed to satisfy the terms?

Huge amounts of buys. I’m surprised but pleased still a lot of confidence I suppose it’s very undervalued in reality and at these prices will attract a lot of interest . Might get in again if it rises to 35

The permit says 41 days for A3 so S1 is at risk unless they tap the market for more money.

I3E haven't written off the phase 1 development yet but what does happen to the senior debt facility now the pilot well has missed the oil bearing sands altogether ?

Cash was over GBP 40m before the drill. And I learnt the well cost about GBP 7m. So healthy cash in hand and fully funded for the next 2 wells to be drill this year.
