The purpose of Sodali & Co is to inform shareholders (based on a pre-released information) and encorage engagement with the voting process. It's not to try and influence or persuade shareholders to vote in any particular way. I'd say this is more about satisfying the court that voting procedures have been fulfilled.
The BoD will have access to realtime updates of current voting from Proxymity, who are overseeing the voting data in conjunction with intermediaries globally (hxxps://www.proxymity.io/).

It was Sodali - GT confirmed to me they’ve hired them - I’ve complained about call as mine are in nominee account (so data or GDPR breach?), potential confusion with fraudulent callers/tricks and they had more details about me than they should have … not happy.

I too have had a phone call from I3E or perhaps it was GTE. Perhaps they are getting a little nervous that this deal is going to be rejected.

I don’t believe you Marine Boy - you mentioned Serica on the 11th Sept when it was up around the 124p mark. If you go to the Serica BB on the LSE - I already highlighted this stock on the 5th Sept a full week before you and unlike you presented a few reasons why - once a twit always a twit!

Most take overs, such as for I3E are all about the benefit to the management of I3E and very little to do with the benefit of the I3E share holders.

I wouldn’t rule out both parties agreeing by mutual consent to walk away or postpone the deal pending an upturn in commodity prices. Let’s face it. It’s turned into a dog’s dinner for most. The only parties with their heads down in the bowl f@rting & burping merrily as they munch away are the greedy Directors of i3.

A world recession is looking more likely which will weaken commodity prices further.
