i3 Energy’s growing presence in Canada means it has started to produce quarterly results, with the latest ahead of WH Ireland’s both for production and cash margin per barrel

The broker adds the results underline its confidence i3 Energy’s assets and management team, with a fair value of 21p reiterated based on a five times EV/2025 expected debt adjusted cash flow (DACF) multiple.

“We believe the company’s solid operational results combined with rising commodity prices will further support the positive trajectory of i3 Energy,” WHI added.

Who cares whether you think it is credible - you've clearly not done your homework.


There's a couple of things you are clueless about:

1) The latest capital reduction is a precaution in case i3e have to write down Serenity

2) This second point is merely my opinion based on crunching a few numbers - i3e will not increase the dividend anytime soon - an increase is not supported by underlying cash flow. I could see an increase towards the end of the year if the drill program goes well and Oil and gas prices are strong - particularly gas prices but otherwise no.

The HF owning nearly 30% of I3E is reassuring - they are in it to win it!!!

And on reflection likely readying I3E for a sale once Q4 2024 and Q1 2025 production increases come online!!!

The HF have been adding on weakness. Any price below 10p is a clear buy given it is underpinned by a strong dividend.
