Edgein: You don't have to convince me about the company. It is one of the most undervalued E&P's on the TSX. However it is also one of the worst performing stocks when all other oil companies are surging back. Perhaps due to the crazy high outstanding shares. It may be an opportunity though...

Isn't it true to say that some trades are still directly buying from, or selling to, a market maker?

Agree that many are just matching buyers and sellers and you can only really guess at demand vs supply by the overall price direction rather than getting too hung up on the price of individual trades. But intuitively, a trend for trade prices closer to either the bid or the offer as shown, might give some clue as to the direction of travel?

Please enough of the oft repeated trope about buys being shown as sells and vice versa.

This is a complaint based on a total misunderstanding of the data available and the way it is processed. The available data does not identify which are buys and which are sells. All anyone can ever do is guess - based on comparing the transacted price to the quoted price. And time lags in reporting render such guesses completely unreliable because the quote has moved in between the transaction time and the time of reporting.

It also ignores one side of every transaction. They are all buys and they are all sells.

This is a conversation that has been had a thousand times here and on every other internet forum. It does not need to be repeated over and over and over.

Ah that looks like a general traders channel on Discord being promoted, not a stock specific channel for I3E.. nevermind thanks anyway!

Discord is really good for this kind of thing as it enables you to set up chat channels for individual stocks and you can have sub-folders/threads where people can also upload images, files, links etc. I use Discord for chat on some other shareholdings.

RA,

Yeah the divis are an added bonus as we continue the journey towards higher production, reserves and even higher dividends. Hundreds of development well locations still to be drilled. Imo its a very easy hold. In fact given the current $ exchange rates its turning into the perfect situation. If they do exit the year on 24,000boepd they'll still have numerous wells still cleaning up into Q1 23 to add to this. Plus then next year's campaign.

Regards,
Ed.

Freeman,

Serenity needed to be drilled and was done so for about 3.1% of the NOI (a drop in the ocean), if successful could have doubled the market cap and still would have been cheap. Even if its just 3-5mmbbls recoverable at present Brent is $93/bbl and rising and Majid talked about $10/bbl devex and $20/bbl opex, that would still be $63/bbl netback.

The market is weak at the moment so putting a discount on our production and reserves. But I3E is far from weak, its in its best operational position ever, its continuously drilling and adding both production and reserves as we'll see in the Q3 and as alluded to in MS recent interview (reserve upgrade likely in the year end annual audit).

Regards,
Ed.

Goodday

Your constant ramping is starting to spook investors as you appear desperate with the falling share price.

Please wind it in.

I like that very much.Spot on Vmax & thank you.Vmax, Posts: 9,593, Price: 22.50RE: Dividends v Buybacks, Today 18:31 Dividends make no difference to an investor like me, I have 100,000 shares so I get like £140 a month in dividends but if the share price rises or falls by 1p then that is + or - £1000 so I could not care less about dividends. I see where GGG is coming from though as he said he has 4.5 million shares and by all accounts he would want a bigger dividend on that holding. As he awaits the almost nailed on future production and growth of the company. If I had 4.5 Million shares I would also want a dividend hike whilst waiting on the future growth of the company.Everyone is in it for their own agenda and have different stratagies when it comes to investing. Again I am like probably most on here a tad fed up hearing about buy backs and divi increase as both posters square off against one another. The Company itself is only going to go from strength to strength so my 100,000 free carry shares are going nowhere for quite some time.Thats with a divi increase or no divi or a buy back or no buy back, it don't matter to me as production is growing and cash is growing and the potential in our own assets are mind blowing for a company our size. You people need to stop with the bickering and suggestion that you know better than the company managment as alas you know nothing of their plans or future proposalsGl all

Also how much is the cost of fuel at your local petrol station, if demand was killed it sure as hell wouldn't be what it is.

Pretax there is no killing oil demand, you know it just talking your own book. Bidens drawing on the SPR for his own ends, It's at it lowest level for decades. Also plenty of South Asian economies are expanding a lot more than Western Europe etc.
Start reading a bit more instead of talking like we are the only people using oil.

Pretax the recession is not killing oil demand. Inventory data says the exact opposite. Another draw this week.

The resession is killing oil demand.
