18/2/2005 15:18 | woooohooo! the keels hit the bottom. | dr kilmore
18/2/2005 14:56 | I'm presuming that any buys at less than, say, 44p per share automatically show up as sells - and that this explains the inaccurate trades data streaming we're getting. Maybe an advfn moderator could confirm? | bic2b
18/2/2005 10:01 | Cheers, Ian for taking the time out to explain delayed trading to a simpleton like me. Much appreciated. | bald sparrow
18/2/2005 09:25 | vicotumeric, put your mind at rest it is extremely unlikely that such a good stock can fall to 22p. huveax is a progressing company in its recent trading statement it said that its doubled the profit but the analysts were expecting more.....hopefully we should see this spring back to 50's very soon and then to 60's..... | rhtshah2
18/2/2005 09:20 | Larger than the NMS. Will take upto one hour to show | ianturner
18/2/2005 08:57 | I bought 20k @ 44p earlier and I'm still waiting for it to show up on the trades page. What the hell's with that? | bald sparrow
18/2/2005 08:46 | Sells are everywhre not just on this one. | pirate
18/2/2005 08:30 | 22p someone suggested - Is that really likely? | vicotumeric
17/2/2005 10:50 | at 10.35 there were about 43000 buys against 29000 sells and advfn is showing all 72000 as sells. | rhtshah2
17/2/2005 10:42 | I can think of only two reasons for these shares to carry on drifting down. 1 - that there's aggressive shorting going on because they didn't instantly plummet to the target shorts set for them. 2 - some of the smaller traders maybe think there's a chance that they can sell now and buy back in at a cheaper rate. There's almost certainly going to be a May general election announcement once this week's parliamentary recess is over. No doubt in two weeks time when Huveaux is back up in the 50s, buy notes will be issued. | bic2b
17/2/2005 10:41 | just did a dummy trade with td waterhouse mm's selling at 45.14 so all the trades which are about that range are buys and not sell as shown on advfn. | rhtshah2
17/2/2005 09:44 | looks like we heading further south....... | rhtshah2
16/2/2005 15:56 | PREVIOUSLY audited brilliantly enough, that is. | bic2b
16/2/2005 15:52 | Maybe the acquired companies just weren't audited brilliantly enough to keep declared profits and payments of Corporation Tax to the absolute minimum. Personally, I'd rather invest in companies whose directors use a bit of financial acumen and tax avoidance rather than pandering to shareholders and the market with ego-boosting profit declarations. Having said that, there's no point chucking any more money at these shares while the market's being irrational about them. | bic2b
16/2/2005 14:47 | dr kildare - well done and thanks for posting the response. However, if the auditors have found something which has reduced profits, this again raises issues about Management's competence. If you are acquiring Company's due dilligence will be undertaken, so was it done in this instance, or was it thorough?. Secondly acquisitions are done with warranties, surely there would have been a minimum Ebitda warranty? Still sounds dodgy. | rat attack
16/2/2005 13:42 | Stalemate, as we all clutch our pennies waiting for the next big drop. | bic2b
16/2/2005 10:31 | Got in yesterday looks like the rot has stopped. Fingers crossed | ianturner
15/2/2005 18:17 | Thanks for posting it. Hope you manage to buy some at the bottom (whatever that turns out to be). Given that you bought in at the top end of the range, it would be a shame if you didn't make some profit from recent events. | kar111
15/2/2005 17:58 | sorry about the first paragraph, pasting skills abysmal, as a footnote very impressed that it took the boss 30 minutes to reply to my e-mail | dr kilmore
15/2/2005 17:56 | From: "John van Kuffeler" To: clive vincent Subject: RE: Corporate governance [Scanned For Viruses] Date: 15 February 2005 17:22 Dear Mr. Vincent, Thank you for your email. I quite understand your concern. We do, of course, have monthly (indeed weekly) sales and these were exactly at analysts estimates when we looked at our forecast for the year at the end of November. Indeed, the eventual sales out-turn (including the Eurosource sales) for the year was very close to analysts forecasts. The "Trading Update" issues were principally in relation to profit. We had made 3 acquisitions during the year 2004 and doubled the size of the company. This is the first time these new companies to the Group have been audited by a "big four" auditor to PLC standards. Inevitably, this raises issues which can significantly effect profit. The directors issued the trading update immediately these became apparent. Let me give you every assurance that we have acted strictly in accordance with the spirit and the letter of AIM Rules. Yours sincerely, John van Kuffeler Chairman Huveaux PLC ____________________ | dr kilmore
15/2/2005 17:31 | You can prevent it going lower but this one is different because lower it goes better the buying opportunity. If it goes to 20P, I will buy 200000, and for 2p, I can buy 10 million. It is a nice little business. Shorters are helping us to buy at a discount. Shorters are really powerfull and always short to death. | pirate
15/2/2005 17:25 | Well, now that I have these shares, I plan to have them transferred out of a nominee account and into my own name hence avoiding any temptation to panic sell if they dip further. It would be a pity to miss out on the dividend and then have a rising price rub salt into the wound. Also, I don't relish the idea of my broker lending out my holding to someone whose sole aim is to diminish its value. Am I right in thinking that by transferring them out of a nominee account I'll prevent that from happening? | kar111
15/2/2005 17:19 | Kilmore - 62. Spot on. Doubling profits through acquisitions is easy, it's getting the EPS to match that is the difficult part. Hopefully 2005 will rectify that all important(in my opinion)issue. | azalea |
