05/6/2019 07:12 | To actually hit the 20000 anticipated bopd flow rate first time is way better than I expected, better than any oiler I have invested in ever. Huge congrats to team Hurricaine and what a day you lot are going to gave at the AGMI love everybody on here,.... yehaaaaaaa | francis55
05/6/2019 07:11 | Another production milestone reached yesterday but I’m not expecting a sustained rise in the share price today - I believe the expectation of FOIL has been baked in to the rise over the last 3 weeks. | erric
05/6/2019 07:08 | I suspect the bitter at the Goat will today be quite sweet :-) | lfdkmp

05/6/2019 07:03 | First oil RNS as widely anticipated! ☺️ "On 4 June 2019, the Aoka Mizu FPSO's start-up phase completed with a 72-hour production test ("First Oil"). The combined flow from both wells during this test period reached and maintained the planned production rate of 20,000 barrels of oil per day ("bopd"). This marks the contractual provisional acceptance of the Aoka Mizu FPSO by Hurricane." Congratulations to Dr Trice and all who contributed to this great achievement with initial production rates produced on target and to schedule! | bountyhunter
05/6/2019 06:56 | All guess work. That's why we invest, take the risk amd deserve the rewards.Hurricane have taken a risk so deserve big rewards if continued oil pressure is proven and findings are correct.IMO on first oil we will see a sharp rise then a drop back to very early 60s until it is announced that the field is sustainable to the predictions. When the crude sales begin to come in we should see a steady rise with peaks and troughs a long the way. In line with oil prises.Long way to go though. | soilderboy
05/6/2019 06:47 | No rns this morning may well lead to an share price fall and could lead to another 'Ropegate'. Luckily ,we have guys like Steve who kindly shares his experience with us. So, if there.s no rns, I will stay relaxed - gulp. Ps Dow was on a high last night, general sentiment might rub off on the UK and hopefully us. Watch those volumes - easy give away. Poo down on new inventory stuff. Timing, timing of factors tgat affect hurr.s share price - typically mixed! GLA. 13mins and counting. | whitegold1
05/6/2019 06:41 | To all of those attending the AGM, have a safe journey and I hope you come away feeling very positive about our future. | the guardian
05/6/2019 06:10 | We have had many false dawns with this SP, just when you expect it to rise, it invariably falls, therefore I wonder even if outstanding news will have much affect on the SP? Any thoughts? | realalemadrid
05/6/2019 05:55 | carcosa, you are correct, but shuttle tankers USUALLY "manually" update their draft just as they leave an installation after loading crude (or after a STS transfer)... so my conclusion is that nothing actually changed... i.e. nothing was loaded. | steve73
05/6/2019 05:12 | The draft AIS measurement is manually input unlike most of the other AIS datasets. Hence it is an unreliable measurement especially when out at sea | carcosa
05/6/2019 02:01 | I estimate the AS was "on station" for no more than about 5 hours. For the first "hook-up" this would be barely enough time to do the various DP checks, shoot the line across, pull in the sequentially larger and larger ropes until they can finally pull in the hose, connect it, check it's leak free, etc, etc, etc..... They probably wanted to confirm an emergency disconnect and this would obviously be done "dry". So unlikely they actually tried to transfer any oil. ...and no change to either the AM or AS drafts. Every other "first hook-up" I've seen has also been a dry run (and usually before any hydrocarbons have been brought on board as well). Ref. the photo. That certainly wasn't a fully rated 12MMscf/d flare. It was little more than the pilot light...!!!! I'm surprised how little trades volume there was yesterday and also Monday (<10MM), if you compare to Thurs/Friday of last week (30-35MM). My guess is that on Thurs/Friday the 72-hour test run was looking to be progressing well (and plenty of people knew). So I'm calling an RNS for F-O first thing this morning, although I'm pretty sure most of the big boys wanting in will already have joined last week, so there may be little affect on share price (other than MM's trying to rip-off a few PIs). To those going to the AGM, I hope you all have a good day, and give my regards to Dr. T. edit.. AS now heading for Lerwick, again suggesting that they've got nothing to unload. | steve73
04/6/2019 22:43 | Pre AGM coffee 10am at Ole & Steen Haymarket. | tournesol
04/6/2019 22:08 | 5hrs is time enough to transfer a lot of oil | the drewster |
