I just think the share price might react when they do sort it, especially if Bernstein is on board. Sp has been creeping up anyway, and the vacant Chair hasn't stopped that.

Don't know if it's relevant to #28705 but CRS share price dropped 5% after opening this morning. Not obvious why, I came here to see if there was anything. (Probably unrelated to HUR, I reckon - no share price correlation with HUR's.)

If there was anything to Lt's rumour about a Chairman, it would be bad news that it hasn't been confirmed. How long does it take to appoint a non-exec Chairman? I just assume the governance issues that caused Arnott's regrettable departure are not resolved, and the candidate backed off.

Fortunately this is an execution phase for the company, so it may not be critical. Still, in case they need to negotiate M&A suddenly you'd like it to be sorted.

New Chairman to be announced within the next two weeks!! on Mar 3rd!

All of which underlines why I ignore unattributed information like that. Either the source has inside information they shouldn't be sharing, or it's just rumour.

Francis.......steady now, broker upgrade once some equipment actually in place on the good weather window. That's the one thing that can stuff the foil date.All looks good, first oil still on target, less stress and pressure.
