05/5/2017 08:35 | CPR on Monday? | filterwest
05/5/2017 08:35 | Rutter I think that's a tough call atm? | zztop
05/5/2017 08:34 | Of course the POO affects HUR as an investment. They have break even costs $37 and the current oil price isn't far off that.Deep sea drilling isn't viable unless you can be certain that oil will recover upwards from here for the long term.Already, you have Shell, Total, Chevron investing heavily in Argentina fracking, similar geology to the Bakken. The world is awash with cheap oil, the US frackers have no sense as they aggressively accelerate drilling, they are killing the golden goose. The bankers lending them the money are equally irresponsible IMHO.Yet oil demand has been rising, China slowdown is making markets jittery. | che7win
05/5/2017 08:21 | The big drop in oil also will be very helpful at keeping down rig rates etc. It nicely chases away any speculative drillling and will insure that all the activity is focused on the post discovery fields like Lancaster, Halifax and Warwick owned by Hurricane. | davidblack
05/5/2017 08:21 | I'll wager a blue finish | rutter
05/5/2017 08:05 | Nice early morning tree shake for a top up | diversification
05/5/2017 08:03 | worth noting the Brent curve has steepened and (e.g.) July 2019 is $2.55 above spot .. | taudelta1
05/5/2017 07:39 | If the POO stays down for a bit it will not materially affect Hurricane given the volume we have solves the Capex issue. One big upside might be that it kills the Solan field owned by Premier. Bolting on production from our nearby assets would transform the economics of the Solan field. That's a lot of very cheap Capex up for sale at 10c on the dollar! And Hurricane can clearly pay a couple of cents more than any other bidder because they can sweat those assets. | davidblack
05/5/2017 07:32 | its capex/b ~$6, and opex/b ~$28, thus ~$34/b b/e | leeson31
05/5/2017 07:30 | Think if my memory is okay $26 | gibso6767
05/5/2017 07:24 | I believe break even is $43 and has scope for further reductions as this is using current base case flow rates | diversification
05/5/2017 07:18 | Further increase expected today, bid imminent? | zebbo
05/5/2017 07:17 | Ck Yes at significantly lower | gibso6767

04/5/2017 22:07 | yes Poo not looking great but if it has any respect for charts (which I doubt) it should bounce from here... Brent: | bountyhunter
04/5/2017 22:02 | gregpeck7 - it did occur to me today given the sharp rise that maybe the CPR has been delayed for such a possible reason - have to wait and see! ...if Delek had paid me for my IAE shares (still waiting) I could have used some of that to buy cnlr and even topped up hur! | bountyhunter
04/5/2017 21:59 | PoO getting right royally rogered - so let's see what we do tomorrow in the face of that. Sustained strength might indicate something else afoot... | terry hardacre

04/5/2017 21:55 | sold a few yesterday :( but held on to more than I sold :) appalling timing nonetheless! [reinvested proceeds in cnlr which could be a multibagger although more risky than hur] | bountyhunter
