03/5/2017 17:41 | Kerogen don't have a board seat and are considered part of the free float even if that stock is "Tightly Held." | davidblack
03/5/2017 17:32 | Your post hd, regarding stake building, got me thinking about liquidity and the availability of the shares. So I searched 'free float' and came up with the FT's free float number of 991.10m shares, which represents 82.6% of the shares outstanding. Since Kerogen hold close to 30% and these I assume are tightly held, how can that be? Does the FT think Kerogen are as likely as the next to sell? | jacks13
03/5/2017 17:08 | chessman - yes, hadn't picked up it was from Friday. Certainly explains why we're strong this week. I really, really hope it's not a predator building up a position! | hiddendepths
03/5/2017 16:49 | Breakout :D said its coming! GLA | mike_f
03/5/2017 16:40 | Another new close high breakout without any news release which when release will send the share the share price into the 70/80s area. | gary38
03/5/2017 16:37 | breakout :-) closed in autcion 59.5p with 10.4k shs | leeson31
03/5/2017 16:28 | youre just negative by nature..... youre not coming to the part now! | leeson31
03/5/2017 16:23 | Well, have they got one? I certainly havn`t seen anything to suggest that they have... Share price is going up- which is good. Suspect someone is buying a few shares. | nicebut
03/5/2017 16:18 | negativity, as per usual, from nicebut :-) and they cant get a farm in partner either can they!? lol | leeson31
03/5/2017 16:12 | Nice rise here... FWIW I reckon CPR numbers arn`t to Trices` satisfaction- So they`ve been sent away to `see what they can do`. | nicebut
03/5/2017 15:56 | Breakout coming this evening?? ;) | mike_f
03/5/2017 15:55 | Don't think so pounddreamer. In fact I think that's a silly remark! But the share price is winding up, of that I am sure. | rayrac
03/5/2017 15:37 | maybe dr T has to lecture competent person about fracture oil fields. and HUR Will earn additional revenue by dr T doing it. | kaos3
03/5/2017 14:29 | Could it not be HUR and CP disagree on the numbers by 50 to 100 million barrels and they are having a bun fight? | pounddreamer
03/5/2017 14:13 | Well you can either have positive frustration here or negative frustration on PANR or SOU or others. I'll stick with the former | rutter
03/5/2017 13:01 | They would hold the CPR back if the data analysis has not been completed and fully documented. | robbiekeane
03/5/2017 12:16 | hd, that 920,000 trade was possibly a buy at 58.11p as it went through at 10.26am last Friday, not yesterday. In any event high turnover is better for us holders. The share price is certainly strong again today which I hope, is a good indication of what is in store for us. | chessman2
03/5/2017 11:53 | yeah, agree. imo, we'll see a minimum of an OIP figure of 2.4billion barrels... but if my hunch is correct, and reasoning for cpr being delayed in that the field is much much bigger, then maybe we'll be surprised with some big ~4bill barrels oip... CA may sell partially in that demand, but i think that sort of news would see much higher demand than any ca effect of supply.. because ppl then would start thinking ' well if lancaster is that big, then halifax must be.....'. :-) then lincoln..... i still reckon this is massively discounted to nav. | leeson31
03/5/2017 11:53 | Why would they hold CPR back? If it's good it would get the share price higher better for raising money and farm in or bid. Some people are too Machievelian for their own good. | buzzzzzzzz
03/5/2017 11:43 | I think we are now long past the lack of staff access. My guess is they are having extended conversations about volumes, cpr assessment boundaries and recovery assumptions. Just a guess of course but they are the usual three issues: size, data assumptions estimates and possible recovery rates. Any of which if materially wrong might impact the competent persons ability to work because of their need to carry professional indemnity insurance. But it will come with my bet being next Monday. | davidblack
03/5/2017 11:26 | yep.. what we do know, is that the CPR techie guys couldnt get answers to questions ffrom the HUR techie guys because the halifax drill went on longer due to much deeper anticipated ODT level, and we know big majors have been in the data room, drooling. so id say the HUR techie staff have been helping the cpr guys in april and is nearrrrly ready, but as you say and i agree too, its been held back because the data is part of an also imminent deal with a major on lancaster... | leeson31
03/5/2017 11:22 | Leeson Sounds a greatb theory....hope you are right....but as RT said "Imminent" over a month ago, I suggest something else is ongoing behind the scenes. Just my opinion. | rutter
03/5/2017 11:18 | i heard there's been a surge in abacus sales in the last month.... | leeson31
03/5/2017 11:15 | Leeson yep spot on I have it on good authority that the calculator didn't have enough zeros. So they went off to WH Smith's looking for a Casio and a couple of spare batteries just in case. Hot off the press! | davidblack |
