Talk about timing! Shares magazine which had recommended buying HTG last year at 280p recommended cutting losses and selling in last weeks issue!
This should at least draw a line under the relentless selling.

It is correct that Hunting is being relegated from the FTSE 250 in June - I can’t find that information online?

I can't see how the volume could be any lower than it is now, in the FTSE 250.
It's not even moving to an uptick in oil.

Had this on my watchlist for a while, it is worth pointing out that current selling is largely technical as Hunting will be relegated from the FTSE 250 at the end of the month so tracker funds have been selling. The good news is that once it is relegated there should be an improvement in the SP

The price action doesn't match the performance and underlying market dynamics which are both improving, so this is an opportunity to accumulate.

When you've only got approx 50k shares traded today, its easy prey for shorts to algo sell it down.

Wonderful opportunity. Didn't think we would be here again. Market overreacting to drill rig decrease in the US. Cant wait to see where this is in 2 years... 6.7p/e in 18 months and 20 percent free cash flow. Would like them to lean into offshore harder.

The PFC contract is one of many going forward as the world still needs lots of oil and gas. With the lack of recent investment due to green political suicide that investment will need to be greater when they wake up

Can't get my head around this, it's been moved down 20% on such low volume since the update.
I've added twice recently, 211 and 203 but fell further each time.
Can't even get a sympathy rise because of PFC today.
I keep reminding myself what the book value is.

Gearing of the business and the fact a lot of the business is land based frac. US drill rigs declined recently. Lack of interest generally. This will moon eventually as we progress into the cycle. 10P/E next year 6 the year after and the rest is gravy...

I know oil has been falling but I cannot work out how a company that upgraded its earnings goes onto to lose 20% plus of its value the following month.
Am I missing something here?

As a lot of people on this board say, this looks astoundingly cheap.Strong trading statement.Directors buying.Good balance sheetFundamentals of market looking strong over the next few years.Essentially, to me it looks like a great opportunity and I'm using the weakness as a great opportunity.Feels a bit like paying £5 for a tenner. Just need patience
