Is Htg in good health generally? Take over possible?
Will be interesting to see results on Thursday

Not necessarily over though unless you were stopped. I managed to convince myself it was turning at a support I hadn't accounted for. I was thinking 290 or even 235 (from memory), I think we only got to 296 so that's not necessarily over. Obviously buying interest though as POO bounced. OPEC's lack of decisiveness put paid to that and POO and HTG eased off.

I'm back in at about 323/324 from this morning. We'll see how that goes.

Here's the weekly chart. From this you could imagine potential support at 290 area, then 231 area. Maybe funds selling it down would explain this scale of drop as suggested above.

Obviously the Feb update is very important here and it might be wise not to over-expose prior to that. On the daily chart I have some indicators are extrememly oversold (Stochs/RSI/TAC-DMI). That can lead to a bounce, but because the MA's are clearly very much in a down trend, it's more like what SR might call 'gerbil bounce'. What I mean is that in a down trend, a bounce if it arrives at all is very likely to be small to moderate so only for the nimble to trade.

My current intention is to keep watching this and to make it one of a small number of shares that I trade this year. But now might not be the moment ot get too excited.

Yes, both make sense to me POO and the Feb update. Doesn't look like it's expected to be good. Chart wise, it looks as though it could fall a fair bit further. I'll look more closely later and post a chart perhaps.

Interesting. I think there are other problems as well such as the oil price tanking.
Looking closely Myself

I’m not looking to go short or long but will invest long term with a lot further weakness. Company seems to be well run - can’t see any problems, but maybe I am blind!

I'll be looking more closely next week. Not sure if I need to let the entry I have go or not. Been busy elsewhere.

Be interesting to see if they approach 250 in the next few months.
Investors nervous about a slowing world economy causing weakness?

I've re-entered a small long position at around 380. Spread is about 3p for me so it may be slightly higher (entry). I'm looking to trade this a little more actively.

Tin Hats on boys !

However, at this time early announcements from Hunting's publicly quoted clients indicate that capital spend in the year ahead will be lower than 2019

I think most Oiler’s won’t be in take off mode as possible world recession looming.
Looking closely at HTG tho as recovery stock

Just a quick pop in to see how things are going. Hunting seems to be really cheap at first glance. Whats everyone's opinions of sector overall. Tia
