JW, 3p at PVR would be a great buy.

And so far no sign of Ebola!

Expect the MMS to play about with this over the next couple of months as they try to get stock. Hold tight and stay focused folks, we're nearly there....

Nothing is without risk we know that, but with proven and probable reserves and months away from production at a v low AISC this isn't a bad value play imo!

The price of gold has fallen off it's perch.

Still another 7.5m warrants at 22p. I would expect some drag

Aureus Mining (AUE) was a sure fire bet as well take a look what happened there.

Until these are in commercial production they are still risky

So today - presumably thanks to a warrant holder cashing out (see yesterday's RNS) - we had a special one day only Hummingbird share sale. It was fun, and I managed to bag a few more shares almost at the bottom of the dip. But, if today's share price movement proves only one thing, it proves that we'll never see the 20s again for this share. Onwards and upwards to production!

The warrant exercise tiny comp to shares in issue, hardly dilutive 0.21% of current shares in issue (approx 343m)

QS, it's not normally that easy. Let's see.

20s? Blimey get a grip. This is forecast conservatively to deliver $70m+ in year one and is capitalized at £110m why would it lose 40% of its value as it nears first pour? More of that and you are filtered! DYOR

@zhockey, sorry which 22p shares are you referring to?

That wouldn't be anything to do with the fact you have just sold, would it?

I think you'll get a chance to buy in the 20's before we see 40p.

I dont really have a strong view on the gold price to be honest but I think this makes sense and today I got a chance to buy a few at decent levels for no real apparent reason ...

Nearly back to 34p to buy

Roll on commercial production and a massive re rating

Catsick, I'm expecting gold to have a reasonable pull back and with those 22p shares out in the market...

Nice cheap scoop today ... The spin off is a good opportunity to raise funds to develop the other assets without diluting. I think its a sensible play.

Gold Fields decided to dispose of non-core projects in 2013. It still has a just over 6 percent stake in Hummingbird.

"We're watching with interest. It looks fantastic with first gold before the end of the year," Gold Fields spokesman Sven Lunsche said.

No real change in volume to justify the drop. The story remains the same and we get closer to first pour every day.

Tick tock...

Theoretically bull flags can break either way but I would frankly be surprised to see this lose gains of the past few weeks being so close to production.
