18/6/2020 13:48 | The way Trump has been you wouldn't bet against but would Biden mean the risk to the markets would reduce and therefore maybe lead to a drop in the gold price? IS this what is known as between a rock and a hard place for the US? | new_buyer
18/6/2020 13:46 | Didn't you say you had sold up and would go away only to return for a look in in one years time. Did you only manage 24 hours? | plasybryn
18/6/2020 13:45 | And over on the LSE bb poor old Golden Bull sends a letter to the bod with a question. While you are waiting, perhaps I can answer it for you? The answer is:- He was pulling the wool over your eyes. Playing you like a fiddle. Dangling another carrot. Dazzling you with B/S. Pick one. | borderterrier1
18/6/2020 12:56 | new_buyer Of course.....just like you did with this. You are a good teacher. You only need to look at this fabulous share price Ho Hummmmm. Only another 5 years to get to 30p? | borderterrier1

18/6/2020 12:01 | having been in this for yonks, it just is unusual to see a nice rise, so cheering really! but it may take a few more goes to get through 30p, let's see....POG holding up pretty well IMO, makes me think it is readying itself to launch through $1,800...let's see DYOR | qs99
18/6/2020 11:45 | Quiet easy to check that the only time Great Bear has been mentioned in this thread of over 9000 posts is in post 9018, never before, jumping on the bandwagon? | new_buyer
18/6/2020 11:43 | I think folk would be a lot happier if they didn't think a penny or two drop is the end of the world and vice versa a penny or two rise means catapulting past 30p. But then the penny pinchers wouldn't have anything to trade on... | casual47
18/6/2020 11:24 | Think Kenny's SELL was a signal! | goodgrief
18/6/2020 10:49 | Full offer to buy even small chunks from what I can see. Could we actually see this through 30p? DYOR | qs99
18/6/2020 10:32 | Nice to see a material move North for a change! | qs99

17/6/2020 22:43 | Good posts! Meanwhile, has anyone else noticed that every time one looks at pog, it's bloody $1727! Getting bored of this. (Though not HUM!) | sandeels
17/6/2020 21:13 | Here in the US I have 29 stocks in my portfolio and today only one of them went down. No prizes for guessing which one. | borderterrier1
17/6/2020 19:03 | Cheers BT will have a look weekend hectic with work at the moment don't seem to have enough hours in the day at the moment. | avsome1968
17/6/2020 18:38 | new_buyer Remember I mentioned Great Bear Resources on here about 2 years ago? I'm sure you will find the post if you look hard enough. It went from 0.35 c to $10.28. In two years. Pretty good huh? I knew you'd be pleased. Perhaps you could tell your friend Dan to ask them for a few pointers re. how to run a goldmine? | borderterrier1
17/6/2020 17:22 | Your DIY analogy is spot on Temujiin and much better again to go out and hire the "A" team (they plan to award an EPCM contract)! I remember looking last time and seeing what an excellent track record Senet had for delivering African projects on time, as they did for HUM and again for the second ball mill.If it is Senet again, that should give great comfort to shareholders. | charlieeee
17/6/2020 16:54 | I was only in HUM for a short period pre-mine and got out with small lose as it seemed to be struggling with the POG environment at the time. They did well to get where they are today so I do credit the BOD for that. Re Charlieee's post above, another advantage with HUM, that is again under considered, is that Kouroussa is basically a re-run of what they have just done successfully at Yanfolila. I know from years of DIY that the first time I do something new, it takes me a lot longer than the next time I do it. I'm hopeful Kouroussa will be built within the time frame and under budget. | temujiin
17/6/2020 16:41 | The mine development by HUM would look to be entirely different from the "shoe string" budget by Cassidy' which was clearly unrealistic. "Cassidy will use the proceeds from the convertible debenture and the private placement offering currently underway to fund the capital expenditure requirements for the development of the Kouroussa Gold Project to commencement of gold production. Development will include the purchase of a complete Gravity Gold Recovery Plant consisting of a 35 ton/hour milling circuit, 60 ton/hour crushing circuit and 100 ton/hour alluvial plant, inclusive of Falcon concentrators, to be built on site at Kouroussa" HUMs plans (for a CIL operation)are far more than $12 million and HUM have set out the technical development steps required. " The Kouroussa Project requires further technical development prior to committing to the mine and process plant development. A six month "pre-development phase" is envisaged to address the following areas: o Geology - completing structural geology and de-risking resource estimate o Complete mine design and ore schedule o Tender the Mining Contract o Complete process design and final metallurgical testwork o Select and award an EPCM contract o Commence Front End Engineering Design of the process plant o Order items of equipment with long lead times o Finalise Permitting, including updates to ESIA & Operating permit o Complete design and costing of the TSF and Site Wide Water supply o Establish construction camp and admin buildings, including clinic o Identify fuel and power suppliers o Complete security risk assessment and establish airstrip This will allow the project to be optimised and de-risked ahead of final funding and will ensure the Project can be developed economically and expediently." It has to be remembered that this project was looking for money at a time when gold was not the flavor of the month: HUM, itself, of course, was looking for funds at a slightly later period and ended up with a mixed bag of equity and debt (and was lucky to get any of the later). Now, it has the benefit of the track record plus an existing income stream. | charlieeee
17/6/2020 16:03 | Hi Sandeels, I try to avoid the other thread but forget sometimes. News flow is going to be good over the next two years with drilling at Dugbe + DFS, Kouroussa developments and mine build build updates plus quarterly updates and whatever is going on at HUM's bread and butter mine. I'm looking forward to it but have a 2 to 3 year time frame so not entirely fussed at what the share price does for a while. | temujiin
17/6/2020 15:29 | Temujin, totally agree re Kouroussa and good to see more people posting on the sane thread! | sandeels
17/6/2020 14:37 | avsome1968 Take a look at Kodiak copper. KDK (OCPFF here in the US) I bought a large position this morning. | borderterrier1
17/6/2020 14:06 | I agree, dilution can be ok if what you get back is going to be worth more than what you lose. The Kouroussa deal is imo a fantastic outcome for HUM SH's, it's almost certainly going to be financed by just debt, or debt + a small % of FCF, and it's profitability and FCF return at current POG is way more than the cost in dilution. This deal imo is very under-rated going by what some posters have been saying but once our seller has been cleared and the new mine build gets underway I think HUM is in a great position to rise significantly. That said, I don't see much of a rise in share price atm while we have the seller in the background. | temujiin
17/6/2020 14:05 | One hopes DB and board have completed exhaustively investigations into these 'technical issues' as part of their due diligence. | bo doodak
17/6/2020 13:32 | Also, there is nothing inherently wrong with dilution. It all depends on the reasons for it. The recent dilution is extraordinarily good value for money, imo and the value it will add to HUM should more than offset the tiny placing. | casual47 |
