11/5/2020 08:38 | Why not keep tabs on the current (N.B.) covid figures in Mali (very low for now) | seagreen
11/5/2020 03:40 | pireric10 May '20 - 10:47 - 1640 of 1641 Agree, though possible investors should maybe think Q2 AISC creeps up for COVID19 measures, but not underlying. Hard tos ay at this point. But not meaningful vs the cash generation. Whilst this is a fair point, I would have thought the impact of costs arising from COVID-19 measures would be minimised or perhaps even negated altogether by the low oil price. It could even be the case that AISC comes in even lower than expected because of this element. | cl2201
10/5/2020 22:10 | LLB I would add to that list exploration success on any of the 3 targets this season: "As previously announced, three drill rigs were mobilised to site and commenced drilling on 5 March 2020, with the aim of achieving the three principal drilling objectives for 2020, namely: a. Identifying underground high-grade resources at Komana East; b. Identifying additional open pit oxide resources at Sanioumale East and West; and c. Testing new greenfield resource targets within the SMK mining licenses and nearby exploration license." Excellent post on ATYM by the way: just like this, a much improved company not yet recognised in the share price | charlieeee
10/5/2020 21:18 | Plasybryn I'm sure he did. Shareprophets? Plenty of knowledgable prophets been on here for the last three years. Nothing new, is it? Perhaps a crystal ball would be better? For all our sakes, let's hope that the prophecies come good this time? | borderterrier1
10/5/2020 17:46 | I see Golden Prospect is an investor in HUM. They invest normally in Australian and Canadian gold miners, not liking AIM. But they make an exception for HUMM. I think they only hold three UK stocks in the Fund, one of which is Humingbird. Bert Monroe ex Humingbird and now Cora Gold, spoke well at the Shareprophets online conference yesterday making positive remarks about Mali & HUMM. Etc. | plasybryn
10/5/2020 16:32 | So, was FSJ's 10 page report after his visit to the mine also a mistake? Didn't he post a link to that on here? What happened? | borderterrier1
10/5/2020 16:00 | podgyted, spot on, whilst these message boards are useful for opinions and snippets of information it should only be a very small proportion of the information to base an investment on. Many have made that mistake. | new_buyer
10/5/2020 14:33 | Full years accounts? Good luck. | borderterrier1
10/5/2020 13:05 | Strangely I don't consider the LSE BB or even this one to be the font of all knowledge. I'm waiting on the full year accounts and H1 production - then we'll see - good or bad. | podgyted

10/5/2020 09:54 | Interesting to note the share price is currently where it was in summer 2016/2017/2018 and 2019, with nothing attributed to debt reduction, the new ball mill, increased milling capacity, increased production Ounces, and the uplift in POG which has been static at USD1200/Oz +/-100 for 5 years until the last 6 months.. Near term catalysts to start the re-rating towards 50p .. 1 - Q2 update and another 30,000 Ounces, making 4 in a row 2 - H1-2020 Net cash positive statement 3 - Q2 reduction of AISC down from 875 4 - POG heading towards USD2000/Oz 5 - Q2 Trade payable reduction confirmation 6 - 2021 debt free statement 7 - A maiden and sustained dividend 8 - Progress or developments at Dugbe 9 - JV on Cora projects 10 - [edit] Drilling results extending LOM | laurence llewelyn binliner
08/5/2020 15:32 | Some chat elsewhere of maybe expecting a dividend at the finals, and cash flow here should clearly be strong at the moment. Not sure that would be the right course of action given you want a dividend to be sustainable but more importantly I'm not sure putting out a 1-2% yield would necessarily have the right signalling effect. Better to strengthen the balance sheet I've been looking at North American stocks over the last couple of weeks and most gold related companies showing good strength despite almost all of them having also capitulated in March | pireric
08/5/2020 15:27 | podgyted In case you missed it from this mornings LSE bb........quote:- "Suspicious of the motives of management" and "greedy private school owners" Nooooooo! Really? | borderterrier1
07/5/2020 22:41 | Time.....all it takes is time ...... and that time is getting shorter. | podgyted
07/5/2020 20:26 | Dan_the_Epic Unfortunately, it depends what Dan_the_Dodgy decides to do with the cash but let's hope you're right. | borderterrier1
07/5/2020 19:43 | The difference now is that the cash is there and coming through, and the balance sheet is strengthening. Now it is just a matter of time. Investors don't wake up to these changes day 1. First quarters results showed they are on the path. Share prices are self fulfilling. The valuation here is very low. Once this breaks out it will draw in buyers. These blocks were not in place 3 years ago. Levered, takes time to sort of operational hiccups. I would be astonished if it languishes here or lower with cash falling into the kitty. Let us see what happens!! | dan_the_epic
07/5/2020 19:38 | Gold moving up again | new_buyer
07/5/2020 19:04 | Dan_the_Epic I was saying the same thing.........three years ago. I wear a wig now. | borderterrier1
07/5/2020 16:20 | AISC is not comparable between companies. It aint an audited number so companies can put whatever they like in it. I never look at mining companies at anything but cash flow. Cold hard dollars flowing into the bank or strengthening working capital. I'd stake shaving half my head that this jumps north over the next 2 weeks unless gold collapses below 1600 [today 1700 and moving up] | dan_the_epic
07/5/2020 16:13 | The AISC should surely include corporate general and administrative costs, including shares, HO salaries, debt interest etc? In HUM's case, they are only operating 1 mine, so the vast majority of their G & A costs should be included with very little attributed to Dugbe or Bunker Hill(?) What's outside the AISC - community costs.... | andrewsr
07/5/2020 15:32 | wassapper Presuming it's possible, time to pull your head out of the sand and face reality? IMO after this length of time, the motives of the "management" are suspect. | borderterrier1
07/5/2020 14:51 | Wassapper, I said company AISC. The number you state is minesite. Which excludes many other expenses. Using the company level is far more useful IMO and helps to explain the under performance of the share price. | ukgeorge |
