With Endeavour bidding for CEY....if it does not work out...will they come sniffing here?!

Endeavour has mines in Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali and Ghana

value hound Why? Fsj, the guy in the "know" did that and where did it get him? I will wait until it gets to single figures and a change of management. Won't be long with this shower.

Sold some Kenny, lost quite a but didn't buy back in. Why would I? No buy signals here. This goes from bad to worse and the management don't give a rat's a$$.

BT1 .. you must have sold out ready to buy back in at 15p then ? To still be holding would ruin your credibility ?

moneyfornothing1 Like I told you some time ago, 15p by Christmas. Please read some of the recent comments on the LSE bb. IMO, (and that of others), the Ceo needs to be removed or this will not improve. Lets see how "happy you are with your investment" in another six months.

Of course the responses are plausible and of course I accept them. But Mostyns closing paragraph was also plausible. Once bitten, twice shy and there are still some unanswered questions here. I wonder why? Don't you find it strange that as far back as 2011-12 the Ceo was bragging incessantly about the "staggering achievements" "massive potential" etc. etc. It's all there in the anals of the Internet. And now, with the mine up a running, investors can't even get timely updates? Is it all smoke and mirrors? The old saying "a goldmine is a hole in the ground with a liar at the top" also makes absolute sense to me. Presumably SB had a good following when this was floated on the market? I wonder what happened then?

Looks like you stopped reading at Mostyn's gripe and did not read the detailed responses that followed to generally calm his fears. He accepted the responses as plausible but unlikely that you would go so far as to accept them too! You do seem to love a conspiracy.

moneyfornothing1 Please read Mostyns last paragraph on his post on the LSE bb which starts:- "I've been burned, etc." So have I. It's probably the reason I am so critical of this.

moneyfornothing1 Not really. But to continually and unconditionally support this as he does would suggest there is a more defined connection/relationship than just a plain investor here. So now we all wait (as we have done before for almost three years) for a glimmer of hope and some movement N. It won't happen and in another six months my guess is that you will also be joining the ranks of disgruntled/frustrated investor. Good luck, you'll need it.

ToInfinity. Of course you are correct. I'm an idiot to believe what I read about this
(lots of us about) and I have never made a penny on the stock market. "Find somewhere else to invest?" How about Anglo Asian Mining tipped by me on the LSE bb two years ago?

To be clear I have no problem with anyone posting an alternative view to mine but please have the sense, when/if questioned, to back up what you say. 1,200 posts of negativity without hardly an ounce of fact is what I have an issue with. He's the black cloud that has ruined this message board single handedly.

wassaper has a lot to answer for!!

I think the idiot would rather everyone would bow down to his impressive knowledge, so impressive it led him to invest in what he calls is a company that could be going bankrupt quite soon, genius indeed!!

I'm Borderterrier I bought into something solely on BB advice that i now regret, mainly because I believe what I'm told very easily and that things should only go up for me;

So do I now -
A) Keep quiet, hide my embarrassment at being so easily led into something I don't understand, hope things turn around, Gold will have its moment etc

B) Realise that I've made a mistake sell-out and find somewhere else to invest

C) Keep attacking views of all people invested alongside me or specially those who are looking to invest here and any other other people with positive views on the company's prospects.

Answer-
C) because that way I put off as many potential buyers as possible and keep the share price as low as possible, so prolonging the day I ever break-even. Genius me.

I used to laugh off BT's incessant negative bleating as him being the 'unfortunate simple one' in any large gathering of strangers and I say that as someone still 15% down on HUM, so also feeling 'unfortunate' myself (but unlike BT I feel i understand why and why it might change), but I'm starting to suspect that the shear volume of his negativity might actually be costing me and the rest of you money.

Please BT I beg you, sell and go far far away, where the most dangerous thing for your money would be a nice shiny piggy bank, or something similar, that you can understand how it operates.

p.s. last time I got exasperated enough to post about BT (different username, different year, new job) - the share price went from 17 to 25p - fingers crossed everyone! even BT! you dangerous oddball to my money you!

Unfortunately guys, you are upset because (regardless of all your glowing testimonials/predictions to the contrary) this share price is doing exactly what I predicted. Who would you blame that on? You obviously can't handle the truth.

BTW new-buyer. Please do your own research and you will find out that (as usual), what I say is correct.

borderterrier are you claiming you post on other boards under other posting names? If so that is the most ridiculous thing I think you have ever posted.

Boystown Investors have been saying the same thing about Hum for a long time and this should have been a valuable resource. The missing fact is that these guys couldn't organize a PU in a brewery. Simple.

Hello HUM BB - Can any posters point me to a basic valuation model / article for HUM that explains things in a way that thickos like me can understand - i.e. someone who doesn't know how to value resource stocks?

I ask as, AFAICS, it looks ludicrously cheap, so I must be missing something.

Redtrend Of course you do. So, if what you say is correct, why the languishing share price over the last three years since "mine completed on time and on budget? Why no interest? The share price proves me to be correct and I'm not alone with my observations here, (please read the LSE bb) so perhaps its you in question, not me?
