09/4/2018 09:24 | borderterrier HUMRF is only traded as an over-the-counter (OTC) stock and obviously has completely different liquidity and spread characteristics compared to HUM traded on the AIM in London. Therefore bid/offer prices are always likely to be well 'out of wack' with each other. It means nothing! | chipperfrd
09/4/2018 07:33 | The share price and the companies value are often disconnected, for 1000s of companies, that's why and how people make money by speculating and/or forecasting that is the case - it then becomes a case of supply and demand, where those selling have a different perspective to those buying. In the case of HUM and HUMRF, in forecasting and speculating terms - they are the same company. In supply and demand terms they are traded in different markets with different punters, so it's not a surprise that at times they are are priced differently. | darola
08/4/2018 21:24 | Darola. You already know me from the other site. As you know I have traded Hummingbird Resourses stock for almost 2 years now on both sides of the Atlantic. On Friday HUMRF shares here in the US spiked up almost 21% as opposed to 0.70% in the UK. Why? Its almost as though they are two completely different companies. | borderterrier1
06/4/2018 13:29 | There's always a conspiracy attached to a share price that's not where you want it to be! Part of the paranoia associated with AIM! | darola
06/4/2018 13:10 | Buys at below mid will normally automatically be shown as sells. I really don't think there is any conspiracy here. I imagine ADVFN are not aware as to whether something is a buy or sell - they just estimate it. | arthurly
06/4/2018 12:50 | So they can mess around with the price to suit their own needs. a licence to make money and we are the mugs contributing to it on a daily basis. | reba
06/4/2018 09:33 | ADVFN states the buy/sell prices are "as a guide" not definitive... been the case since they started. | rhuvaal2
06/4/2018 08:26 | I paid 33.69 this morning, when the ask was 34.5. It's showing as a sell! | darola
05/4/2018 19:50 | buy, not but! | ewanwhose
05/4/2018 19:50 | Not sure what mms are up to - I was quoted 33.395 to but but the spread is 33-34.5. Looks like many more buys than sells today but shows as 100% sells. | ewanwhose
05/4/2018 15:09 | some chunky trades today | ukgeorge
03/4/2018 17:18 | Lets hope the gold price rallies. So far it hasnt given as much help as I hoped help since the start of production. | charles clore
03/4/2018 16:35 | Very close to breaking above the 200dma which using yahoo finance is 34.09p rsi at 51 is pretty neutral | ukgeorge
03/4/2018 16:14 | Charles since you were nice i will do just that. I would like to say however that it is strange to me how a fellow can be offended by a bit of straight talk. I find that when people take offence it is usually because simply they want to. That being said as i am in the company of lets say "sensitive types" i will curtail my naughtiness. For now. | zeberdie
03/4/2018 15:48 | Thanks Charles that looks good | ukgeorge
03/4/2018 15:37 | George - have you tried The basic version is free | charles clore
03/4/2018 15:34 | Zeb - up until now this has been a polite and helpful thread so how about deleting the offensive posts and starting again? | charles clore
03/4/2018 15:21 | Haha thank you Good Grief. It just seems unnecessary. | bishan bedi
03/4/2018 15:11 | On a separate matter entirely. Does anyone know any free providers of good charts for shares. Similar to what you get on Igindex or on bloomberg? Looking at the hum chart must be close to the 200 dma. cheers | ukgeorge
03/4/2018 14:07 | If you could moderate your language I am sure everyone would be appreciative. It's all well and good being annoyed at other posters but don't sink to their level, it does you a disservice. | bishan bedi
03/4/2018 13:58 | Naughtiness and hurtful words removed to protect those among us of the more sensitive persuasion. | zeberdie
03/4/2018 13:51 | Have you put your pension in this company you seem very tetchy? | ukgeorge
