29/9/2024 13:26 | Creditcrunchies Are we on the same page here? The information was presented with hard documentary evidence to back it up. If what you say is correct, why didn't Betts Metals take legal action? | borderterrier1
29/9/2024 13:17 | #PH getting the ball mill relined was a surprise here too, the forecasts were off because of it and not communicated to manage investors expectations, disappointing, but finally with new leadership coming in we should start to see some transparency from the BOD, tomorrows IMC presentation could be spikey, but I look forward to it all the same.. A painful year of set backs, but Q4 from Tuesday, and FGS make some progress and put a dent in the debt.. A chief transformation officer will be appointed by the board and will join in an executive capacity to lead this assessment and the implementation of the transformation plan. This process will involve initial Board and management changes, with further adjustments expected upon completion of the review.. The Company is finalising the appointment of an experienced mining professional to lead this transformative process focused on operational delivery and ramp up at Kouroussa and is expected to be in place shortly. | laurence llewelyn binliner
29/9/2024 13:13 | For 800k … this is not a mini placing that would be a propper offer on bad condition. Maybe wake up | infinity888
29/9/2024 12:30 | 8.5p was Cigs last price | plat hunter
29/9/2024 12:25 | The day the tender of pasofino was announced it was at 0.5C$ and offer was 0.91C$ … thats a whopping 82% premium …. Even we get an announcement of an offer tomorrow from Coris it will be at least the 11.75P they paid last time getting so huge amount. Thats around the value comparing Pasofino. Taking the resources from YAN and KOU into context the buyer would do easy 1B$ after tax in profit next 10 years | infinity888
29/9/2024 12:20 | As we have the details of the RNS already - tomorrow will be rather about 1. Q3 un audited results 2. Rumours going around of an offer coming in above 10P 3. Q4 forecast based on known factors I see tomorrows session way more positive than many here predict… i think people will miss out which sold on Friday | infinity888
29/9/2024 12:14 | Yup Qsmelly that's bad, 60k lost ounces over the period or roughly 120m million, small savings grace is that net debt has only increased over that period by 70m, however it we should have also paid back around 30m by now too, so a net debt loading of 100m from where we should be. Selling Dugbe doesn't touch the sides we need a path to consistent production and accurate forecasting. It pains me that they didn't think getting the mill relined would impact production and thus their forecasts for commercial production. I feel this was a very much an avoidable school boy mistake. | plat hunter
29/9/2024 11:47 | 🤣🤣 Over the year to 30th June HUM's two mines have produced less than 80,000 oz and the share price is now under 7p. Why does today's statement refer to pride in what has been achieved instead of an apology. Indeed why is Dan Betts not falling on his sword rather than being kicked upstairs? | qsmeily456
29/9/2024 10:32 | Infinity your analysis seems objective but have you factored in the mgmt. that is used to finding a banana peel to step on 😂😂 | sid_b
29/9/2024 09:57 | Only whats count is the forward projection of HUM. 10th September 2024 was the Beaver Creek Precious Metals Summit presentation uploaded on HUMs website. 3 weeks till quarter end. Fcst for Q3 was shown as 38Koz or 18Koz more than Q2. Q3 has 13 weeks and 3 weeks were to go or about 22% left. So there could be maybe a 10% downside on the numbers which would be still 34K oz or 14koz more. We made 12M$ negative ebidta - we should be neutral around 25-26Koz as max. This sounds to me that we will deliver 20-30M ebidta for Q3 Q4 even better as not rain season - easy 50M$+ ebidta Just loading more - but also think that we see soon a 15p buyout offer | infinity888
29/9/2024 09:27 | Don't be surprised if bank officials are getting handsome gifts while they keep throwing more money at this seemingly never ending mess. It's not uncommon in developing countries to have such situations. | sid_b
29/9/2024 08:12 | I am way more interested in mondays presentation. Mid September there presentation showed 38zk oz for Q3. Be it 34K … it will generate a profit | infinity888
29/9/2024 08:06 | In Africa so many people get all time arrested … would not read anything into it. Barricks mine has 300 employees there | infinity888
29/9/2024 02:40 | I reckon he just uses these boards to draw people in then scalps. That's my guess because how can you possibly make money investing in this s show. You would have to keep averaging down then get out on any dead cat bounce tying up all of your capital when investing elsewhere would have been more profitable | creditcrunchies
28/9/2024 19:45 | Guess who sold yesterday will miss out | infinity888
28/9/2024 19:44 | Was told they have interested buyer which pay premium … looks like that was the original reason why they attend the summit in Canada | infinity888
28/9/2024 18:07 | Hi BT! It's all a dollar short and a day late. Or more like several tens of millions of dollars short and at least a year too late. Total liabilities are now an incredible $460m or so. There's no coming back from that. I'm not quite sure, in hindsight, when the moment of no return was passed. Probably in the spring. But it sure is in the rear view mirror now. Coris Bank were idiots to leave Dan Betts in charge for so long. And they'll pay for their mistake. They won't lose all their money, but I reckon they'll lose half of it. The assets will go in a fire sale. PIs, of course, are equity. And equity will get nothing. This is goodnight and goodbye. The "presentation" tomorrow should be comedy gold. If I'm doing nothing I might actually tune in. Will Dan dare to present his reign as a success? The guy's got such a brass neck he should be a Tory MP! There are many things wrong with Britain now - one of them is how talentless arrogant lazy sods from the right families like Dan are allowed to endlessly "fail upwards" without accountability. | tigerbythetail
28/9/2024 14:07 | trader465 You must understand that Plat is a "forward looking" investor. Like so many others on here, he uses the "Ah, but that was then, this is now" scenario. What he and many others conveniently overlook is that what happened then has caused what's happening now. Getting rid of Del Boy is a step in the right direction but after more than seven years of abysmal performance, it may be too late. And I wonder what will happen now if the gold production DOES actually improve? Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm | borderterrier1
28/9/2024 13:52 | The Company's senior management team will be holding an investor presentation to discuss the release of the Company's Financing, Operational & Strategic Review and Operational Update on Monday 30 September 2024 at 15:00 BST via the Investor Meet Company platform. Time 30 Sept 2024, 15:00 BST Starts in 2 days Duration 1 hour Meeting Type CDM Presenters Dan Betts - CEO & Interim Chairman James Husband - IR Edward Montgomery - Managing Director, Corporate Development Tom Hill - Finance Director | noirua
28/9/2024 07:19 | You could be right, but Betts will still be there. It would good to have an experienced, well-respected CEO in place and resident in Mali/Guinea to oversee daily activities rather than occasional visits by the present management. | andrewsr
28/9/2024 05:32 | Welcome to the investor center: | farrugia
28/9/2024 00:36 | Prat is obviously a super trader, I really wish I could do the same and trade a stock with a 10-20% spread and make money. It’s difficult enough to make a profit trading stocks with a 0.1% spread 🤷a | trader465 |
