Are analysts expecting 10y LOM to be achieved by the next R&R update?

If HUM only achieve e.g. 8y LOM I presume this will in their mind add to the risk and uncertainty surrounding HUM?

By definition, an increase in Reserves translates directly to LoM.

Under phaze1 we already had a Reserve of 470koz at Komana East and 240koz at Komana West.

Phase2 brings in 2 years @ 7.5koz pa from Guirin West (ie 15koz), 2 years @ 17.5koz pa from SanioumaleWest (ie 35koz) and 3 years at 20koz pa from Sanioumale East (ie 60koz).

Phase3 brings in 3 years at 56.7koz pa from Gonka (ie 170koz).

Hence initial target Reserve for extending the LoM to c. 10 years is the sum of the above. ie 470 + 240 + 15 + 35 + 60 + 170 = 990koz.

It is therefore these numbers for updated Resources and translations to increased Reserve that we should be looking for by the end of 1Q19. Any less and more work is required. Any more is an initial bonus. Then we would hope to see ongoing exploration replacing depletion from production - so a rolling minimum of a 10 year LoM.

Sounds a bit longer than next year to me.....

Also curious of them to say they are "now confident" that they are on track of achieving extended LOM. So...they weren't confident about it before??

If you can read you will see that all they say is that there will be an updated R&R end of Q1 2019. You can infer from that what you like but it doesn't mean that they expect to reach their target then.

"All currently planned exploration drilling is expected to be completed by year end 2018 allowing the mineral resource model and mine planning to commence. It is expected that by the end of the first quarter 2019 a new mineral Resource and Reserve update will be released by the company. "

This morning the response looks almost universally as Buy! There must be a lot of stock to absorb before/if it moves higher. Does L2 show any promise?

Sentiment will change soon enough.Investors are fickle. As soon as it starts to go up just watch how the tone of the commentary changes. Meanwhile Directors hopefully keep their heads down and deliver value creation.

BT I sold my hum few weeks ago give my money a run in AMER do you think hum have a chance to turn it round ive gold to rise next year due to 2019 80/20% chance being a bear market with Brexit china/USA trade war dept etc ive got a chunk in TSG well run company but was thinking of buying my chunk back here still looks cheap if they don't balls anything else up plus ive took a stake in cora what do you think of them thanks
