Definitely a sit and wait stock with production coming probably late 2017 and a lot can happen in that time.
A gamble on the gold price and being able to keep on target for 2017. Any delays add to costs.
So generally a good prospective mine with subscribers paying 22p a share. May cause some pause for thought but certainly a good one to tuck away for a year or two.

Pixi - if markets go into free fall thr fed will just print a few more trillion dollars and buy up stocks. That's why the US market appears so healthy. It can't fail under the fed. Only if the fed fails

The last time they hiked interest rates, the markets went into free-fall. Can they afford to repeat the same mistakes again?

The American dollar has been significantly devalued, like most currencies, to generate "growth" but you can only see it with a magnifying glass!

Everyone waiting for the Fed`s - Will they- Wont they !!

This puts HUM in the frame, and no doubt bid rumours will do the rounds
in the months to come.

The next time Gold hits $1300 it will mean far more than when Gold hit $1900.

ALL Investors in producers will discover the only possible way for the Big Boys
to gain more Ounces can only come from consolidations and bids,as few can wait
10 years for new mines.

As (when) Gold starts its multi-year rise ,World production will actually fall further and Investors will be seriously numbercrunching declining Resources and screaming for - more !!!

IMHO.

If the gold story plays out as hoped then the fund raise is well timed and a great result. With production hopefully coming on line late 2017 onward, I'd be surprised not to see gold nearer $1400-$1500. The cash flow from this asset alone will be significant and should see the share price at multiples of where we now are.

Good news! Turus was probably wanting too much so they went a cheaper way. I would've liked some more at 22p myself!

Looking back at the chart it appears that 22p was decided about 3 weeks ago when the price spiked down to that level suddenly after making tremendous gains in the previous 4 months. Shows how those in the know take advantage of the likes of us retail investors.

I wonder why ordinary shareholders were not offered a rights issue for even a part of the fundraising. I'm sure many of us would have welcomed the chance to buy at 22 pence!

To raise £46 million is a huge achievement in this day and age, well done I'd say.

Wonder what happened to Taurus?

Well that is the news I have been waiting for and I must say it's a relief to know that finally the company is making progress towards mining production, though I'm not sure it will be enough to take us all the way there. If the terms are good 22p will be viewed as a cracking deal - there was always bound to be some dilution whichever way it was played.

Good news for long termers and an opportunity (for those with vision) to top up.

The major markets have topped out and "death" crosses abound so I guess a rally in PM's is about to kick off. I'm fully loaded with PAF, POLY and HUM and have fastened seat belts for blast off.

Looking good, I started buying HUM in November 2015 and made a fortune out of gold this year. George Soros knows where to come if he wants any advice! Lol

tailor1 - I don't know about Cambridge Minerals but I do know quite a lot about AGQ and Jim Williams CEO who if I remember correctly did not suffer too much from his company's misfortunes. Not a lot more to be said.

Just to make it clear, hedge funders set a contract and have there rules for the explorer to follow if funding is to be available, I think there should also be flexibility as weather plays a part, machinery can break down etc and the price of commodities.

The 2 companies I had invested in one is CMR who no longer trade, and the other is AGQ who has lost there main asset but is still trading.

I am not saying the same will happen, but the memory is there with my past still.

I have lost a lot of cash and others I know have lost £25000,000 upwards. We all felt we are finally there and this is the turning point.

It just turned the wrong way.

This company looks very interesting with so little shares and to produce 100k oz au would build very quick.

I am invested also in Stratex Gold who is now producing and has no loans, the market has not yet taken to them, but when figures start to show then it should turn.
