Use post noirua, things are looking bright for hummingbird :)) big buy today 385000 towards the close!! A Good sign too ;-) Plus the company is already valued at 55p so plenty of upside!! Any idea when we will get some funding news?? Maybe that big trade today is a sign that its very soon!

Yes STI looking very promising :)) plus i bought in there before the recent rises on your advice gold digger! I remember you telling me about hummingbird to and it was tipped on sharepickers recently so i decided to invest here aswell :)) Could be a RNS coming both here and sti tomorrow or Friday.

Didn't realise the agm was today, thought tomorrow for some reason so yes the vibe must have been good. Lots of buys just after the agm. There must have been questions asked regarding the financing. Hopefully hear something from it soon.

As I say it wouldn't surprise me if HUM was looking at alternatives. The project is a HUMdinger and should not have any problem attracting finance at the right rate (which may be why they haven't already struck the deal with Taurus)

They are a US hedge fund with plenty of capital to put to work so I understand. I share your puzzlement.

I cannot understand why Taurus have not decided on the full finance. With the optimised mine schedule and NPV of $162 mln its de risked even further. Surely it will be a good investment for them.
What are they waiting for? I have googled Taurus but cant really find much info on them. Does any body know what kind of outfit are they and what is their financial status?

The company said they will keep shareholders updated on the mine financing. I was hoping we would hear something by the end of April but I guess these things can sometimes overrun especially if they are looking at alternatives.

There will be no dilutive effect as there might be if the money raised was destined to be 'squandered' on exploration or administration costs. It will be for the specific purpose of building a mine and that is usually seen by the market as quite positive.

Congratulations Laptop. IMHO this is potentially one of the most rewarding stocks on AIM. I am really looking forward to them getting that mine under way.

This is a bit of a tricky one because i think the funding will involve an equity element which may suggest a lower share price, but i think that once the funding is in place the value of the company will be much higher which suggests a higher price. Interesting.
