26/8/2015 08:20 | There really got to be an investigation on the float....but doubt it will happen.. | diku
26/8/2015 08:14 | Well, this has turned out to be a total disaster. I think the mantra has to be that if the city is inviting PIs to get involved in a float it means that they really don't want anything to do with it and you should run a mile. I do think this is a gross overreaction given that the share price had already been marked down by 30% since the float and they are delivering in line with their last update so I expected a flat response rather than another 30% taken off....having said that I guess to come to market and then immediately miss your targets is always going to get you hammered. I am torn between doubling up at the current level or selling the lot for a huge loss. I do believe that the intrinsic value of the business is higher than currently reflected but I don't really blame the market for its reaction. | salpara111
26/8/2015 08:12 | Sold to you sucker! | phowdo
20/8/2015 06:56 | Halesowen quirky fact: It is the point in the UK which is furthest from the sea. Very few of HSS's customers live in the sea, so it's a great location for a new branch. | thamestrader
19/8/2015 21:51 | New store openings continue... @HSSHire: The brand new Halesowen branch has opened today (we struggled to find a quirky fact about Halesowen. Sorry Halesowen) hxxp://t.co/wAFLRgZ0 | battlebus2
19/8/2015 07:58 | 160p anybody?... | diku
18/8/2015 12:09 | 140+ to buy now so moving in the right direction. | battlebus2
18/8/2015 00:14 | A good day for HSS, hoping for a run up to results. | battlebus2
07/8/2015 08:08 | None that i've heard diku :)) Hopefully a rise up to results, if as i expect the results aren't as bad as most commentators fear we may slowly recover some what. Long term imv this is a buy but dyor etc... | battlebus2
06/8/2015 15:13 | Any takeover rumours for HSS?... | diku
17/7/2015 23:14 | The market works in a mysterious way....the belief that more buyers and the price rises and more sellers and the price falls is a myth!.... | diku
17/7/2015 16:39 | Is the Market maker having to fill a large order because this is the onlt share I have which goes up when there are alot more sales than buys !!! | farmsted
09/7/2015 15:53 | FIL buying going over 5% from 6 million to 9 million, a vote of confidence imv. | battlebus2
08/7/2015 16:08 | Looks like the PE boys are buying back they shares at 30% discount, not bad. Watch this space !! | farmsted
02/7/2015 12:03 | If shorters get a hold here it's going to be a tough one to recover. Anyone know the short position total? | 412069
02/7/2015 10:37 | Speedy Hire has got hammered because of falling hire rates, poor customer service and lack of plant. 30% drop in price. CEO gone. “Given the relatively firm construction market, it is quite surprising to see [Speedy Hire’s] warning,” said Kevin Fogarty, an analyst at Panmure Gordon. “It probably provides a mini ‘get out of jail free card’ for HSS. Though this week the sector has not covered itself in glory,” he added. | yesrupnel
01/7/2015 23:33 | my brother is coo so can't comment here but he is good at at what he does | ntv
01/7/2015 12:08 | PS. Same thing happening to Speedy Hire need I say more. | 412069
01/7/2015 08:48 | Every time I pass any DIY centre in the mornings, there are loads of immigrants standing in the street outside looking for business. They're there every day now. Offering manual labour, not something else :) | spob
01/7/2015 08:43 | 412069 Care to elaborate Why are you suffering ? We are LED to beleive the economy is flying along, and wages are growing again ? blah blah blah That's not me, just the typical media gibberish I keep hearing/reading The truth is the Tories are lining up another £12 BILLION of welfare austerity cuts, which means more doom and gloom all round for the UK economy | spob
01/7/2015 08:27 | Then there is always a possible takeover...No Advice Intended... | diku
01/7/2015 07:50 | Still think these are a buy for the long term, when you look at Speedy Hires update this morning it puts our marginal below expectations into perspective. Gaining market share is very positive to me...and can't be helping the likes of Speedy... | battlebus2
30/6/2015 16:13 | Hard to believe that it is at least 14 years now. How time flies.... And time will tell who's right and who's wrong about the SP! | cwa1 |
