Every time I pass any DIY centre in the mornings, there are loads of immigrants standing in the street outside looking for business. They're there every day now.

Offering manual labour, not something else :)

Care to elaborate

Why are you suffering ?

We are LED to beleive the economy is flying along, and wages are growing again ? blah blah blah

That's not me, just the typical media gibberish I keep hearing/reading

The truth is the Tories are lining up another £12 BILLION of welfare austerity cuts, which means more doom and gloom all round for the UK economy

Still think these are a buy for the long term, when you look at Speedy Hires update this morning it puts our marginal below expectations into perspective.
Gaining market share is very positive to me...and can't be helping the likes of Speedy...

Hard to believe that it is at least 14 years now. How time flies....

And time will tell who's right and who's wrong about the SP!

Morning. I keep looking at the price action and think: hmmm, maybe worth a punt "down" at these levels. Then I look at the financials and metrics and just can't push the button as it just doesn't look cheap enough to me. Annoying and I'm probably wrong but just the way I feel. Good fortune with it anyway holders.

Haven't paid much attention to this new issue

Quite surprised they managed to float this given the enormous liabilities

I have no position here and no intention of taking one

Incredibly annoying!
The share price dipped to 133p which constitutes a massive overreaction to 2 months of slightly below trend trading but neither Barclays nor IG index would offer you a trade at that price.
As soon as it bounces back to 145 they open the books, I wonder who was able to buy stock at the 135p level?

Well, this is the last float I buy into!
Over reaction but even so, it will take a long time to see my money back

Where did I miss "double digit growth"?

"We believe the Group continued to take market share over the period and consequently expect to report high-single digit organic revenue growth for Q2 15. This revenue performance, combined with the start-up costs of new branches in their first year of trading, is expected to result in H1 2015 Adjusted EBITDA (1) being in line with the comparative period in 2014."

Trading statement out, trading inline with 2014 ,taking market share but slow start to the year probably explains the share price fall, recovering with single digit growth expected.

I bought these as a long term growth stock and nothing has happened to suggest that they are not delivering so I guess I will just continue to hold and only look at the share price again in 3 months time.
