Lone Star looking for longer term solutions. This process continues and Lonestar, the successful acquirer of a portfolio of over 30 smaller corporate loans from IBRC, continues to actively seek longer-term solutions for these companies. - See more at:

reminds me of TVZ

the debt holders allowed it to drag on gave false hope to equity holders before pulling the plug

BAM BAM...OK I'll alter that. At 31.12.2013 the company reported Net Assets of 1.26p per share. They also reported CASH of £600k, enough for say 3 years.

Lone Star have acquired the "banking facility" of Puma, not the hotels, although I accept they will have charges against the hotels themselves.

Puma have until the end of September to sort out their position.

Shore Capital bought and own 21.99% of HCP.

There are plenty of possibilities for enhancing shareholder funds and apart from the BOD blowing £600k at an IOM casino, there is no downside imo.

What actually have you got against the company BAM BAM?

If lone star were just going to walk away with this group they would be doing it, not extending the terms.A deal is being done.

At end of 2013, net cash was c.£0.6m. Estimated £0.4m balance by the end of 2014

That cash is being spent on ongoing liabilities; admin expense and listing costs

The hotel investment is fully owned by the bank with the equity having nil value

Spot on beaglePuma ow HCP £2.8mil in bonds and divi,And then we have any value in the hotels themselves,They had £7.5 mil cash last accounts. They say they are doing even better now .All we have showing on share price at the moment is cash shell price.

As I see it HCP has cash of about £1.2 million, annual burn of £200k, enough for 5/6 years continuity, and no liabilities.

If Puma is duff it has no claim on funds from HCP. If it has a net value then HCP is entitled to 49% of it.

It's a win only situation unless I'm missing something.

I'm only a small holder here but I'm tempted to become a bigger one.

Can anyone point out any error in my synopsis?

Should be an update this week.

Seems deal has been brokered with Lone Star but imo pay HCP out then most likely Lone Star will become 100% owner.

This is back to its cash level again; its always going to be volatile. Give it a chance to do a deal! We are talking 21 hotels worth hundreds of millions and a company valued at cash. Any hint of a deal and you know it will fly.
