Yep JB, changes quickly that’s for sure, now some are saying over supply next year and nickel prices could go down to 8k again, couldn’t make it up really.

World population growth is still positive but has declined considerably in rate of increase. Also, the more affluent areas have gone negative.
However, don't worry about that; the switch from IC to EV will more than make up for that...eventually.

Strow I was reading some parts of the world population growth is actually decreasing .. Japan is a very good example

Thanks Strow, I agree Jailbird JM seems to think growth will be at 2-4% growth per year on year, and also with very few projects coming on line at the right time.

Yep thanks Strow,Does not surprise to be honest .. a lot of hype about this project ... I think Nickel will recover to at least this year's recent highs again eventually

Interesting read that Strow, thanks for posting.

....Tsingshan’s success in ramping up nickel pig-iron (NPI) production in Indonesia has led the market to think the top producer could repeat that in chemicals.

But building an HPAL facility is significantly more complicated than an NPI smelter....

Be nice if those that dropped nickel on this basis/speculation would raise it up again, but doubt it. Probably doesn't fit their agenda.

One other Possibility is a tactical sell down to devalue and weaken the position of HZM in advance of a cheap offer. Can't be ruled out I guess??
