wooster that’s how i see it if it was shorted or ii had put in to sell all there shares then from what i understand no TR1 is required.

hobs - not necessarily - if a bid comes in at say 10 pence, then any spike is capped and short can be closed.

So maybe if Teck (for example) loaned shares (in tranches) this would not result in a TR-1 when they were sold? But when would the shorts be covered? Surely this would result in massive spike in price?

Anyone have a possible explanation as to why there hasn't been a TR-1 notification? I'm sure the seller must have crossed a few thresholds by now?

Craigieboy, indeed. The Vermelho deal was IMHO, a great one and putting us firmly in the EV market along with the Stainless Steel market via Araguaia.

Think that Vale now see the metrics on Nickel as very good,especially as that New Caladonia mine was looking very iffy to them.

It certainly looks that way uapatel, intersting point in the note that Vale have suspended the sale of another Nickel asset, maybe highlights the extent of the bargain basment deal achieved by HZM last year.

The battery manufacturers are going to have busy factories for sure! Surely it's only a matter of time before the entire supply chain reflects this. HZM included hopefully.

4.32 to buy at the moment, a few early buys on the board.

mav - only a year ago these were still under 2.5p. I expect it's someone taking profits having doubled their money. And I expect it to double again by year end!
