HZM could easily do 1000% on asset sales or bid for the companyAraguaia alone Net Present Value is forecast to be over $620m according to UBS Nickel price forecasts in 2018 (from ~430kt of Nickel)The Limonite resources are NOT included the economics of the Araguaia project so present Additional Significant Upside that add an extra 233kt Nickel and 25kt Cobalt. We don't know how much it will cost to process this yet but it will exclude mining costs as it will be processed from stockpiles of Ore. Anyone interested should work out how much that metal is valued at today's prices and then project forward to future prices! The numbers are staggeringCAML gives a good example of a low cost, high margin operation from processing Ore stockpiles

Maybe, JM and Teck could do a little more to highlight merits of HZM on TSX? Never feel that we get the full value of our quote there.

Unbelievable-giga metals mentioned in one of those ev battery links earlier being bidded up and has increased in value by 700% in Canada over the last year with a PEA showing an NPV of $750m based on a nickel price of $8.50/lb and very debatable metallurgy results.Know which I'd rather be in.

The Ni in batteries story is very encouraging as an unexpected source of future metal demand and with every new piece of news seems to get better and better. But it's important not to lose sight of the fact that stainless steel is still and likely to remain the main use of the metal. And linked to demand for SS is the health of the Chinese economy. In the last few years China has seemed to be losing its past phenomenal rate of growth. Specifically it was running out of infrastructure to build and is trying to shift the emphasis to lower growth consumer spending. They have built most of the roads, bridges and railways they will ever need and even some cities that people dubbed as ghosts because no one lives in them. Like the Hollywood film the Chinese view is "build it and they will come". And to a large extent this has worked in terms of keeping 7% annual growth going (and from our POV Ni demand up). China's problem is that it has an enormous amount of infrastructure building capacity sitting around and nothing to build. The solution? Build infrastructure in other people's countries. Hence the One Belt, One Road Initiative (OBORI). The plan is to use infrastructure investment in over 70 countries to improve trade and economic links. The Belt is a series of land investments and, confusingly, the Road is sea routes, specifically port infrastructure. And it seems to have a chance of working, in the sense that it helps maintain China's growth rates for the next few years. There are of course lots of other, perhaps, less positive issues with the above but from HZM's perspective it is good if it underwrites continuing demand for SS and Ni into the 2020s.
