24/5/2019 12:41 | Bought in on yesterday’s results. Looks good value | zoolook
19/5/2019 12:07 | I will have to say thanks to Wan .. over on the AAZ thread for pointing out HUR .. .. But nice to see good company in both .. In General.. There seems to be an air of .. dare I say general depression around share indices at the moment.. but .. if you examine close enough .. there could be a near explosive up-side ... especially amongst small resource & mining co's .. (I also like some medical/biotech) Another little 'Bowl'... (again with a double bottom .. Rising 'W' pattern) on a weekly chart .. is Jadestone Energy.. which has just broken above resistance at 45p.. (now 54p) ... with strong momentum.. so may be worth examining. As far a sectors / commodities .. Oil has been in the doldrums for quite a while .. should be much higher (.. if only just .. due to QE & Inflation over the past 10 years) Gold has flat-lined .. and Silver looks to be on it's last legs .. chart wise at least (I know fundamentals say otherwise .. and have been banging that Drum for a long time on the Gold / Silver threads .. but .. charts is charts .. you can take the view that the price is being suppressed .. and take the opportunity to acquire some physical.. but a market can stay irrational for a very long time .. and 'Investing' .. also requires the 'Investor .. to have a sense of Timing.. Iron Ore however .. has doubled since 2013 lows .. making a W bottom (A double 'Bowl'.. .. with higher right hand 'Low') .. and now is challenging the interim high of 2017.. .. If it breaks through that resistance .. then a re-valuation of Iron ore miners & steel producers may be due. Soft Commodities .. Cocoa .. seems to be the only one in a rising Trend .. Oats seem to be turning from 2016 lows .. but the others .. seem to be caught in some deflationary spiral (coffee chart looks Dire .. to the extent I'm embarrassed not to have been shorting it from last Year .. when it broke through a bottom resistance.. going all the way back to 2005) .. Just posting as it's good to share ideas .. & post findings.. keep em' coming .. Bowls .. & Cup/handle chart patterns .. I find are very dependable indicators.. | k mon

19/5/2019 10:45 | KAV Some nice words in the morning note from the highly respected mining analyst John Meyer at share price Angel ref: LSE:KAV / www.kavangoresources Kavango Resources (KAV LN) 3.6p, Mkt Cap £5.7m – Laws of probability to be rewritten after Kavango strikes mineralisation in first and second drill holes under Karoo sand in Botswana Kavango, which is exploring for a large-scale bushveld igneous-type mineralisation reports results from a second drill hole in Botswana. The team which are highly experienced in the geology of the region have used geophysical data and remote sensing to establish drilling locations. Remarkably, the first drill hole hit mineralisation under the sandy Karoo sediments Even more remarkably the second drill hole is reported to have also hit mineralisation including copper in chalcopyrite with a 1.5% XRF gun reading. X-Ray Frequency gun readings are not considered to be reliable due to their potential for miss-reporting but we do place some value on the readings when in the honorable hands of Messrs. Foster and Moles. The first drill hole hit a 200m zone of intensely altered rock with indicative cobalt values of up to 0.9%, averaging 0.2% cobalt and >70m of elevated copper, zinc, lead and nickel values. Conclusion: Kavango is worth watching and we await results from drill core assays. While we never doubted the skill of the geological team we are surprised and impressed to see two sets of mineralised results in so short a time frame. Well done team! | cpap man
19/5/2019 10:44 | Kmon those are 2 of my biggest holdings. Great when awesome potential and a nice chart coincide | mad foetus
19/5/2019 10:38 | ... Finding quite a few of these formations.. especially on the longer term [Monthly / weekly] chart patterns.. (so a buy & hold strategy .. rather than for daily / trading ) So here's another Early days yet .. HUR .. Hurricane Energy.. Higher Lows .. Rising wedge ... knocking on resistance between Late 50's to 70p.. ... and a Cup & Handle - stretching back over two years .. - I know .. not strictly a Bowl .. but a nice addition to any dinner set. .. To show how a Bowl can turn out .. ... Have a look at AAZ .. Going back to 2012.. topped at 55 in 2012 ... then a rounded decline to around 6p .. circa 2015 - 2016.. .. then (via a few cup & handles .. to 95p Today.. (I Hold .. and have done since the mid 30's ... as there was a C&H forming .. so did the decent thing ... & took a SIPP... :0) These chart formations .. can be really powerful ... so well worth looking out for. ... just have to be a bit patient... | k mon

17/4/2019 11:07 | Only deal in reality flashheart and it will play out at some point so take care and no I don't short. Definitely not a bowl sandbag, remember TERN and the hammering that I had over daring to suggest it would drop from 40p and that one came to fruition. Anyway , not the point but that one is good to look at on the series of small bowls that brought it to it's current point. | luckyorange
17/4/2019 10:38 | You're in a dream world lucky orange! | flashheart
17/4/2019 10:36 | "Moved too quickly from 8 and will be back there again.... you asked!" If it does I'll be buying shedloads but it still doesn't resemble a bowl which is what this board is meant for. | sandbag
17/4/2019 08:23 | BIDS way overheated plas (Justin ramping the hell out of it!) needs to start again at 8p where he will say he topsliced at the current high. Moved too quickly from 8 and will be back there again.... you asked! | luckyorange
17/4/2019 08:19 | XAR large fall and slowly moving up, could be wrong but I see it as much lower risk in getting in at the bottom of what I perceive as a bowl, XAR is one at the moment. | luckyorange
17/4/2019 08:14 | Bowls in the making judge, seem to be going up anyway! Are you talking about the top of bowls or bottoms, good to get in before they start to complete. JUST moving up daily PDL on it's way , IOF will move up. However, I will bow to your superior knowledge but would appreciate any current examples of bowls in the process of completion or ideally at the bottom of the process. | luckyorange
15/4/2019 20:01 | Hell's bells Plas, If you think that's a bowl you really should have gone to Specsavers! | sandbag
15/4/2019 16:14 | Anyone followings BIDS? | plasybryn
15/4/2019 14:00 | FCRM, JUST, IOF, PDL are not bowls SAV debateable | judge grinder
15/4/2019 13:33 | IOF, PDL and SAV making a move, out of fcrm for the moment volume dropped off. | luckyorange
14/4/2019 09:26 | Some good calls on here, I do like bowls, popped a small amount into ARS but it is a herd share so don't get spiked, not teaching my granny to make cakes just an observation. | luckyorange |
