Consumers doubled spending on Bowling in December (vs Dec 22) according to Lloyds Bank data (p41 The Times) - bodes well. |
Key Executive recently sold UK£319k worth of stock On the 12th of January, Laurence Keen sold around 108k shares on-market at roughly UK£2.97 per share. This transaction amounted to 7.6% of their direct individual holding at the time of the trade. This was the largest sale by an insider in the last 3 months. This was Laurence's only on-market trade for the last 12 months. |
Hedgehog 100 9 May '22 - 18:42 - 1640 of 1689 Edit 0 0 0 "Newmark Security (NWT) 27.5p Market cap. £2.58M. "

NWT & ARA were two of my most recent suggestions on this thread, copied above.
And here's their current state of play:-
1. NWT: 81.5p: +196.36% from 27.5p.
NWT's BOWL pattern is continuing to develop nicely.
And it looks good for a return to c. 250p within the next year or so, which would also correspond well with fundamental analysis.
2. ARA: 6p: -20% from 7.5p.
I was too early here, but the developing bowl pattern is significantly stronger than c. fifteen months ago, and the fundamentals are very supportive of a bullish outcome. |
FY23 highlights -- Revenue +c.17% bookings +c. 16% and ARR +c.18% YoY at constant currency -- Reported Adjusted EBITDA(1) ahead of the top end of the range of market expectations(2) -- Net dollar retention rate resilient YoY at 99% (FY22: 100%) -- Our balance sheet remains strong, with our net cash balance increasing to $91m, reflecting strong cash generation in the period -- Separately announced share buy-back program of up to GBP20m (c.$25m) |
BOOM is a serious bowl formation. |
Is it worth having a look at the AAU chart. Recovery bowl? |
A serious 3 year bowl forming at IQAI, with a steep right hand side to come! |
Tipped in The Mail on Sunday - AIM listed EMPIRE METALS / LSE:EEE
MIDAS VERDICT: Early-stage exploration firms are not for the faint-hearted but adventurous investors should give Empire a go. Titanium is an essential component of daily life and military might but China has the lion's share of the market. Western governments and companies are keen to source this mineral from friendlier climes and Pitfield fits the bill. At 9.3p, Empire shares could go far.

MCG institutions buying in, word on the blogs is takeover. current price circa 80. my chart targeting circa 121 then 181 |
Tough when previous year had the VAT benefit but on forward pe and relative cash calculations BOWL was worth £4.70 on the same basis when I last calculated prior to today. I can see why TEG was taken out, decent yield and cheaper shares in a stable sector, what's not to like? |
was hoping for an increase in eps but still the results are good. |
obviously newS |
Hollywood Bowl just mentioned on BBC Radio 4 9am new. Business boosted by so much rain recently. |
Assuming interest rates come down gradually, the dividend is pretty good for a growth share as well.
Surely this must be one of the few solid UK growth business success stories. |
Share buy back too, which is more important. Canada performance means there is a good growth runway. This should easily break out to all time highs, especially now TEG is no longer an alternative investment. |
On first reading FY report looking good....Excellent performance with record revenues and profitable growth ' Dividend EX 1st Feb ... Paid 23rd Feb 2024 ' Final ordinary 8.54 p with Special 2.73 p ' Total for the year 2023 on par with 2022 |
Looking forward to Monday morning, results and hopefully a special dividend will give us a kick over £3. |
Come on BOWL, you can do it...
Breakout the same % as the previous trading range - I think that's the chartist's mantra.
That's about 25% - 350p - nice round number.
Its been in the range for 4 years+, apart from covid 2020 - that should make any breakout significant. |
ETP, nice bowl forming. target circa 186 |
Last bowl I bought was Ashley House and it went bust.
Anyway, choose a random income stock and chances are there’s a bowl present or forming.
Of course there is no real definition of a bowl or its length or evidence that its a good buy.
Symmetrical rises are much more interesting. |
Lovely bowl forming on Trustpilot (TRST) as it moves into profitability... |
EAAS ... agm next week, news imminent. initial target 8.48 |
