When your cousin sneezes...Europe gets a cold...

Money flow out of equities....into....crypto? A market that has already been smashed and continues to be....btc from 20k to 7300....

Big chance of another meltdown in the DOW after UK close IMHO

DOW only down 50 ... that is pretty pathetic given Friday's 666 point drop.
Not out of the woods there IMHO. I think plenty were expecting 200-300 point fightback. Might still happen but if not the nerves will kick in again.

Let's be honest everything is too much money because of this debt boom and QE

Property stockmarkets vintage cars wine blah blah blah

Gold? I like gold. If I had money, which I don't really, I'd be a buyer.

At least on the whole over time you don't lose money in it.

More than you can say for silver

Buffers, good luck though the big crash will take all before it.

Agree gold will fall initially, but the dollar won't be able to hold up either.

Cash, not me, I have just about enough , but much more silver, of course!

We would only see under 200p HOC if there is a 30% US markets correction ( overdue).

Nothing is going up much at the mo

Markets are over valued massively

They will, have to crash just don't know when.

Gold will be the only refuge but that will crash too in the first instance then zoom up

Best stay in cash if you have any and wait

It'll buy more of whatever you want after the crash event

As for hoc, well, sub 200p is nailed on.

I'm a buyer at 150-175p

And a seller at 337p

Love it

I know whhat I've done, Rodders same as you I think.

- Dow , does look like the recent bitcoin chart at last! Dow opened down 1% but HOC is down 5 percent Juju is correct avoid ALL stocks until the bottom is seen in the Dow.. could we be seeing the start of the crash? I'd really really love that.

gold not cryptos H .. crypto buyers have been doing so during a stock market bull run.
If stock and bond markets crash the mentality may change.

During real carnage do you pump your money in a token of thin air in digital cyberspace ? or the tried and trusted 5000 year old precious metals.

If we don't get back to 220 by close, I'd have to fear we are in new negative ground here.

ju, a crashing Dow at the same time as the end of the bond bull market, cash will be seeking new homes, so gold and cryptos could both do very well.

However the Dow will not be permitted to crash, we have new limit down tripswitch in place to prevent any more thousand point days.

This is really being discked about with by the trading bots....loads of trades for piddling amounts of shares.

Given that silver has actually rebounded quite well today, all a bit worrying
