14/8/2023 07:58 | Capex to build mine is $900m. Hoc can never build this mine. That is why they had split the asset into a separate company last year. They are probably going to spilt it out, like they did with Aclara or (I hope) sell it and distribute the proceeds. M&I resources of ca. 10 m oz - even if they got $50 per oz, it would generate $500m in proceeds, which is around HOC current market cap. This was a sleeper in HOC’s portfolio that I had forgotten about. | hunter154
14/8/2023 07:38 | stronger argument to the fact the share price is too low. Positive news, revenue and profit will rise significantly when the new mine starts to produce. Note new mine will break even in less than 4 years | r88ave

11/8/2023 12:55 | Equinox major holdings. Interesting that they have preferred HOC over Fresnillo. I guess they see huge potential in Inmalacuda and Mara Rosa | rathkum
11/8/2023 10:37 | interesting perhaps the holding swaps this week has drag this down. Defo solid support around 80p area. continue to hold | r88ave

02/8/2023 18:10 | Agreed, but, as ever with precious metals, patience may be required. | arlington chetwynd talbott
02/8/2023 09:17 | I think we would be 100p+ by now if it were not for such a down day on the markets. Still bodes well for further gains when the markets regain some optimism | bocase
02/8/2023 08:38 | Hallelujah! After today's news, HOC no longer a binary gamble but investable again! I was lucky enough to buy a reasonable quantity at the bell. Half I'll look to sell when the (hopefully inevitable) rerate has occurred in a few weeks' time, the other half is for the long term. (I believe in silver, particularly as an industrial metal in demand. (E.g.: The world is moving to new technologies in the manufacture of solar panels which require roughly previously double the amount of silver per panel. Given how solar itself will expand, this will make a considerable difference.) | tigerbythetail
02/8/2023 08:27 | Been here for a while but going nowhere with tranches at 62/68/78/88 and 128Was always going to wait for a £3 return | knocknock
02/8/2023 08:19 | I can't see why anyone would sell now, not at least until the share price is much higher so with few sellers the share price should maintain momentum | bocase
02/8/2023 08:18 | A succession of broker upgrades should follow | bocase
02/8/2023 08:07 | Fantastic. Worth the wait. | knocknock
