Juju £200 per month for her is a healthy sum

Tech in the us deserves to fall hard. FB has been slammed for use of personal data.

Whole market needs to come down.

Gold as ever will be a store of value. I think it's more about capital preservation today than trying to eek out capital appreciation.

UBS always say buy gold at $1300 (or around there) and sell it around $1400 (around there). Seems to be a good trade to build a decent fund.

As for HOC, hey I actually bought another £200 worth today for my 2 year old daughters ISA. She's down a grand at the moment in HOC but ONE DAY she'll thank me. It'll be her Uni fund at 18.

juju always relied on his gapfill. Big drop on USD index recently so that might be filled to screw these a little further but then buy IMO

chaps .. any thoughts about the late declared 3.8m trade ?

on the buy side but of course with the useless transparency you can never tell.

Hoping it was an earlier trade that dictated the rise but there was also a quick reverse in the share price before the close.

Dreading a significant DIR sale (another one) as took w while to get over the last one.

Although progress in the share price is "lacking" it is not the case with the Loro Project where things seem to be going well:

An initial drill test of key areas of at least 1,500m and up to 3,000m, including sub-cropping veins, based on geology together with geochemical and geophysical anomalies, is being planned with Hochschild and will start before the end of April.

They are certainly shaking this hard!

Good to see the immediate bounce back through 200p though.

I continue to laugh and hold for 550p.

Rhu. You should do well with your MML purchase. The new CEO has kitchen sinked everything in the accounts and written off most of the past exploration expenditure. Bananghilig is a second discovery with decent reserves/resources to the north of the existing mine but this is not being progressed at the moment as it would be an open pit mine with social and political implications for the people there.

Production and profitability is set to move higher from 1/7/18. It is too early for MML to return to the ASX300 and Van Eck's GDXJ where it was before but this could happen in a year or two as the company recovers. MML is in a similar position to HOC a few years ago when the share price here fell to 40p then started to recover. MML fell to 30c and has a long way to go to be fully valued. Those who bought HOC in the 40's and below 100p including myself did very well and so it's likely to be with any current purchases of MML.

Our Rhino greenhouse is storm tested to 137 mph winds and guaranteed for 25 years. Nothing else like it on the market! British designed and manufactured and even some in the Falklands apparently!

Yes silver is very useful medically. It was used by the NHS hospital on my back last year after minor skin surgery that was not healing properly. Good luck with your use as an oral spray.

This will start rising, I think, in June/July/aug as gold usually starts rising then...

Saying that, it might not

Now shut that drawyer and forget about it

Only one making money here is the family who own more than half of it.

Often the case that companies more than half family controlled are not liked by the City.

Hi Topicel,

OK, the majority of us have given up the ghost here. Even Stevea on his thread has reduced I believe.

If true, that would surely be a classic 'buy' signal, no ?

OK, the majority of us have given up the ghost here. Even Stevea on his thread has reduced I believe.

Nothing ever goes up forever, or in a straight line as the saying goes, and equally oversold is also a reality. Timing, however, remains as elusive as ever.

Yet, and yet, we have overlooked some basics for PMs and related investments through all the recent turmoil, and that is the Fed and its next planned, and priced in for sure, 0.25 percent rise and meeting/press conference on Wednesday next.

Many times we have seen things under pressure leading up to that moment and just maybe we are going to see a rally in PMs and little old HOC etc. after the certainty is known?

It could be something and nothing, or it could be Powell is as undecided now it's his hands on the tiller as Yellen largely was...and the markets for gold and silver about turn.

Certainly none here expected sub £2 at HOC when we were in the 220-240p range for weeks on end. This dip could be the worst of the 200-220p new area. Let's hope so or GS will be handing is 550p dream onto his heirs!
