Richkid. Unlike RMS Titanic, the good ship HOC will rise again!

Gold and silver are anti Fed, anti the mega Banks, anti Government and for the independently minded and anyone with a view of the history of currencies. Likewise cryptos speak to the same types of people but in the main to the younger generation who are particularly rebellious of parental and central control and the straight jacket the system tries to put them in.

Imo cryptos are not a fad but some of them are already changing the world and the way B to C and C to C money transactions can be streamlined and speed of transactions and costs reduced to almost nothing even if you live in Africa or Timbuktu ....

btw. I have recently bought my first (and probably only) cryptocurrency, partly as a hedge against falling stocks and stock markets. Not one of the top ones like BTC, ETH etc. 95% of the 1,000 plus cryptos are rubbish of course!
