Steve - trend is definitely up and will continue to be this is just on short term trading opps; which can obviously often end in tears if one is in it purely for the long term rise...

Wow what a smash down.

Couldn't have predicted that earlier. No irony meant but do add some if you want.

The yanks can indeed put it where they want.

PM smash much more dramatic than the earlier spike. Yanks can put it where they want when they want

Looks like it will be the sell-off option for pm stocks...

Someone didn't appreciate that spike up in PMs....

Dollar/Yen moving close to 1:111 which is a long way from 1:118 six weeks or so ago but further yet from the 1:102 it approached before Trump fever took hold.

The debate is how 'weak' is 'weak' and what is 'too strong' when it comes to USD?

Gold is going like the clappers. And this is rollover time?
HOC I agree will probably be marked up on the opening.

and even bigger FRES still red today.

Personally if silver moves towards $19, HOC would surely get dragged up with it.

DT - fair enough, we have different goals. I am only really focused on the value in 6-12 months +

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to trade!

My Canadians & US PM stocks, going for it after London close, usually bodes well for UK tomorrow!

We are not far from a MAJOR UPSIDE BREAKOUT from my viewpoint!!

Lets see what happens tomorrow.....

Jim, appreciate your comment but for me this was about trading out to trade back in
We will see if I was right. Either way the price of HoC has so far not moved up..

Most of my Canadian PM stocks are up 2-3 today, so sure the London ones will catch up in time.

Think your focusing too much on the short term. Imo gold wants to move up to $1300, which will boost the miners.

Interesting PM price versus miners price divergence

Surely miners should be zooming up?

Lack of market conviction?

Not seen this recently

Agreed Jimbowen, the whole thing is still a charade anyway as the debt ceiling and Trump's infrastructure money requires a low interest rate for a while longer, don't you think?

You're not keeping up GS!

gold at $1262 and looks like it wants to push on to $1300. Any rate rise, is factored into the price imo.

Both keep kissing your 1260 and 18.39 levels GS....what are you doing to us?

Think big man - like you don't, lol - and go for 18.65 and 1290 tomorrow as Trumpety Trump confuses everyone as to where the dosh is coming from!

We may end blue which will be a good sign IMO. Perhaps 300p will come into our sights sooner rather than later :-)
