I remember we were slow to follow on the last move upward - I saw a chart the other day I think are close to break-out maybe?! Anyone have any charts?

Lol bud. A lot of us would be very glad if they still retained 20% of their capital from 2006...!

Or did the financial crash pass you by?!

Maybe look at their return since 2008 and decide. Depending on when and how they've been adding and investing in HOC that alone could have been a nice earner, it has been for most of us here during 2016 despite the recent pull backs.

If I was a fund manager and had, say, seen a stock multiply 8-fold in months and couldn't see much more than a doubling in comparison from now, maybe I'd try and find another multi-bagger...?

Basically that is what HOC has done, and like so many did here around September, if they had the sense, profits are being taken. But I take the point generally about funds and other investment vehicles.

Either way, something is curtailing our potential at the moment because it ain't weakness in the PMs that's for sure!

Budevenwiser - That is my concern about the relative weakness of HOC over recent weeks! Perhaps a seller (Vanguard) are keeping the spring from releasing here?

HOC may go up today. Not too OTT bullish hopefully!

$1293 & $18.41 (the CASH being thrown off at these prices is quite large).

Usually at the start of a move in a sector the big companies move first followed by the mid caps then the tiddlers.
Then at the end of a move in a sector it usually does the opposite with the big comps moving down first.
Who knows Vanguard could be dumping more as we type.

Keep up the enthusiastic work Golden :) The consolidation at this level gives a great indication of what gains lie ahead!

I am always wary about posters stating prices are being suppressed to allow the big boys to pile in. Supply and demand, no more no less. Potential scares on the political horizon may strengthen price near term. Breaching 300p is the immediate concern.

I too reckon Goldenshares is not overly bullish. As mentioned, the 2011-13 period is evidence enough, and lest we forget the leaps and bounds this year already.

A three month pause/sabbatical is only right after such a flurry. The writing isn't quite on the wall but it continually looks like PMs and thus related investments were held down to allow electioneering to prosper.

It is now slowly unwinding, or rewinding, if you prefer. Like I said earlier, maybe 300p will be little resistance now...?

Thanks Rodders, don't worry I will.

700p+ target for me in 2017 (appologies to all those who would like a calmer prediction of 300p).

LOL :)))

Ps. My personal OTT bullish prediction is £23.50 per share in 2019.

:))))

NB. SILVER: Starting it's climb to $100 ?!

:)))))

Truly sorry goldenshare888, you're persistently OTT bullish and I need a calmer approach so you're filtered for the time being.
