SG- thats a million dollar question.

HOC is their second largest holding, 5% of their total assets, maybe as Lauders says they see short term growth else where.

They've sold sod all really and still have tonnes left.

How about they have made a packet here already and think they should spread the risk on their return somewhere else? There may well be better shorter term opportunities than HOC.

They have gone under 8%

Why ?

Golden, that obviously can't be the reason as the date of this transaction was the 21st October.

True. I see a lot higher than 400p

Infact on this leg up about to start I see 500p+

But making money is a lot less important than knowing children and innocents aren't going to be burnt and pulverised.

The whole Aleppo thing makes me sick, sad and angry.

Wish we could DO something.

Agreed DT, although regardless, I see HOC at 700p+ next year.

I think if the war that seems to be brewing comes to pass our HOC shares even if they are £10 won't do us a whole of good comparatively speaking. This was could be unimaginably devastating.

Geopolitical instability is the greatest influence on Gold, and in my long (79) lifetime I have never seen so much of it around. It may seem callous but a really big crisis/war could raise HOC up to £10 plus, and I think we are headed that way.

I hope so, James Turk knows what he's talking about. I've got my pension riding on it!

Will James be correct?

As we kick off the final week of trading in October, today James Turk told King World News silver will skyrocket from its huge multi-decade base and “mammoth cup & handle.”

I think HOC reports earnings next year don't they? A lot could change between now and then. A big election is due in the next couple of weeks for instance... That said I still think we will see a decent benefit from our depressed currency vs the dollar.

Not a chartist but looks like a wedge developing getting shallower daily which could indicate a nice spring when fully formed.

You never know.....

Nothing would surprise me, this could double in a month or stay flat or decline.

My money is on much higher price by year end and triple current price in 2017!

It's all a gamble.
