24/10/2016 23:02 | You dirty rotten shorter .. | saturdaygirl
24/10/2016 22:57 | One of the reasons they're manipulating silver and gold is to create the illusion of a strong economy to get Hillary elected. The HOC share price performance following the strong Q3 Mining Production Results has been weak as a direct consequence of the PM manipulation and I can't now see the manipulators letting PM prices go much higher prior to 8 November. | simonthe1st
24/10/2016 19:05 | AAZ has taken off since I upped my stake last week. It is extremely undervalued and is one of the most efficient gold miners, per ounce, on the planet. What is responsible for the gold spike - it wouldn't have anything to do with China dumping US debt and devaluing it's currency, would it? I would appreciate your advice. I recently bought a rather swish Crombie suit and the trousers have turn-ups. Should I remove them in order to attend a posh regiment dinner next month, or should I leave them as they are? | pixi
24/10/2016 18:46 | I know and its scary to own .. Buts its out there and trading ! | saturdaygirl
24/10/2016 18:37 | You can't use solg to compare price performance. It always has been a basket case | dilbert dogbreadth
24/10/2016 16:40 | ODR - those canaries are tweeting ever so loudly saying 'look at all this manipulation, the US dollar must be in big trouble'. Can you hear them? | charles clore
24/10/2016 16:37 | On that note: Summary Investors in gold miners have a huge week ahead. Many major gold miners are reporting earnings. The reports are likely to set a tone for the entire sector and serve as a weighty catalyst this week. Actual earnings results should be positive, due to a positive trend for gold prices into the quarter end. However, guidance from miners might be deflating given the price declines in gold and silver since September end. A lot of US miners reporting on Wednesday and Thursday! A few in the UK too. If all goes well then PM will possibly do well, if any disappointment then....? | lauders
24/10/2016 16:30 | Charles .. surely the PM's are the canary in the mine for the USD If the USD collapses all their Ponzi USD based profits will collapse | onedayrodders
24/10/2016 16:10 | Yep, it looks like they are desperate to keep PMs under control, but why? If PMs are so insignificant what's the big deal? Surely not a threat to the mighty US dollar? And what's more, it looks like HOC is hanging on firmly to the dollar's coat tails! | charles clore
24/10/2016 15:59 | So far they are doing a mighty fine job and keeping things under "control". Pretty "clever" and perhaps they can surprise us and keep it going longer than any of us believe possible! | lauders
24/10/2016 15:54 | convinced the yanks just collude and press and print to control whatever and whenever ... until the black swan appears it will continue They cant keep spinning black swan plates forever | onedayrodders
24/10/2016 15:25 | years of following gold has lead to to have an irrational hatred of yanks. Or is it? | dilbert dogbreadth
24/10/2016 15:20 | don't tell me .. huge paper attack just launched ...expect zerohedge to confirm the same soon | onedayrodders
24/10/2016 14:02 | And gold spike? | merkage
24/10/2016 13:45 | Anyone know the reason for the silver spike after 13:30? | simonthe1st
24/10/2016 12:23 | edjge2.. yes AMA merged with PRU | onedayrodders
24/10/2016 11:32 | Do wish stevea171 would return as he always had sanity on his side also saying 'how everything is' and being a knowledgeable gentleman too... | gaaston
24/10/2016 11:17 | ODR - True, but at the moment HOC is being rather frustrating. I was hoping for 300p a bit faster and silver/gold aren't exactly down today. Patience I know, but when a company is your largest holding it is hard to be so patient sometimes ;-) | lauders
24/10/2016 10:40 | OT was in lse quoted AMA that disappeared into PRU. Grabbed a few PRU on every downswing, hopefully coalition then looks OK. 2am trading a bit of nuisance. AAZ and STI up nicely again JNUG on NYSE may be ready but 3x leveraged on small miners change, so dives down and up. 9x on gold price or so. Can't be ISAd over here it seems | edjge2
24/10/2016 09:57 | Lauders ... pretty much happens all the time with HOC, seems to follow it's own path but sometimes can be up and more resilient when others are weakening. Anyone looking for another good goldie ... (Isa'ble) Perseus Mining Limited (ASX: PRU) Shares of Perseus Mining have spiked more than 11.4% today after the gold producer reported better-than-expected production figures for the September quarter. A significant improvement in productivity achieved at the company’s Edikan gold mine resulted in a 9% increase in gold production over the prior quarter and allowed Perseus to maintain its half-year production guidance of 80,000-100,000 ounces. Investors would also be pleased with the sizeable fall in production costs during the quarter, which came in 6% below the June quarter. | onedayrodders
24/10/2016 09:13 | Understand Barclays have raised target to 290p from 280p. Wow! Brave of them but every little bit helps. Perhaps smash that and end over 300p with any luck by end of play? | lauders
24/10/2016 08:45 | What's with HOC when the majority of miners are going up today and silver is doing OK so far? I know we should not necessarily focus on the short-term but really. Sometimes you just wonder! Come on HOC! Get with the programme ;-) | lauders |
