For what it's worth... and I don't expect those who don't know me to take it at face value...... Was informed last night that HNR has the helium results.

And just to point out, today at 19:00 UK time, is the deadline for the applications for the next Montana Hearing for drilling permits, Feb. 2 2017.

In Custer County, Highlands Montana Corporation received approval to drill the Helios 5-52-16-21. The Highlands Montana Corporation well will reach the Dakota Formation at a proposed depth of 5,300 feet.

Bear Trap Definition

"A situation in which investors who sold short near the bottom of a down cycle find themselves trapped when the market unexpectedly reverses. As longs begin to enter the market, the shorts start buying their way out of their losing positions, which further fuels the upward price momentum and panic buying for the remaining short-sellers who are still in the market"

Looking at the chart, Highlands could possibly be in the process of a Bear Trap.

This week may help confirm the bear trap ahead of much news expected in January. Would be nice to see any shorts buying in which will fuel the upward price momentum and panic buying. Need to close at 32.5p or higher to see this happen in my view.

If not, the support line it has gone through 4 days ago could now act as resistance. This is where the share price closed last Friday and could go back to 25p to see if that support stops it dropping any further.

Just hope it is a bear trap and see a great increase in January. The 3 days trading this week should show which way the share price is going.

January will be an exciting month ahead in my opinion.

Bill Barrett Corporation Denver-Julesburg Basin’s internal rate of return (or IRR). The plot uses type curves representing EURs (estimated ultimate recoveries) of 800 Mboe (thousand barrels of oil equivalent), 700 Mboe, and 600 Mboe.

The 800 Mboe EUR-type curve delivers an IRR of 71.0% and a PV10 value1 of $6.9 million. The 700 Mboe EUR-type curve supports an IRR of 55.0% and a PV10 value of $5.3 million. Finally, the 600 Mboe EUR-type curve supports an IRR of 41.0% and a PV10 value of $3.8 million.

The above figures are calculated for an extended reach lateral (or XRL) well with a ~9,500-foot lateral and a cost of $4.3 million per well.

So if 1 XRL well is NPV10 is $6.9 million on a 800Mboe Estimated Ultimate Recovery

6 XRL wells is NPV10 $41.4 million

So we should at least double our original plan NPV10 of $21.5 million

If the EUR goes to 1000Mboe then the figure could be over NPV10 $60 million

This is rough estimate on the wells!
