11/4/2018 02:06 | Woody,Well done.I joined you for another 5,500, just after 4pm.On the turn from the 135.40p bottom. So I purchased in total 14,500 HGM yesterday. At an average price of 138.46p.So already slightly in profit. And a lovely dividend to come. Now holding in total 47,000 HGM,at an average price of 71.35p,because I have bought and sold, since Nov 2014.My first purchase was at 32.99p.On 14/11/2014.And sold some at 175.1p on 13/04/2017.So like you I back my own judgement.I believe some nice profits to come from the current level. | garycook
10/4/2018 22:13 | Only 10 days until ex-dividend. Is the plan to drag the share price down and then buy back for an even better yield. | coxsmn
10/4/2018 18:35 | Cl1nt1, Thanks - lucky I didn't tell him I bought even more outside the ISA... and the spreadbet. In any event, it's just recycled profits from elsewhere anyway. | woodhawk
10/4/2018 18:19 | Ace decision - we pay enough the taxman and i don’t see how swapping a holding into an isa can possibly be a bad choice. Especially in this case i’m be gobsmakced if by the time u sell in your isa the price isn’t higher and no capital gains or income tax on your divi in a few weeks... | stevedaytrader
10/4/2018 18:15 | Results must be soon? What sort of dividend are people expecting? | justiceforthemany
10/4/2018 18:13 | good for you woodhawk. he doesnt even know what percentage you have in HGM. | cl1nt1
10/4/2018 17:59 | In my opinion, yes, and that's what counts. I make plenty of money backing my own judgement, if I didn't I wouldn't be in the market. I have plenty of other shares already in my ISA, SIPP and regular dealing accounts. It may have been this year's entire ISA allocation but it is only a small fraction of my entire portfolio. | woodhawk
10/4/2018 17:46 | Well was that sensible? Not imo. | bigdazzler
10/4/2018 17:45 | :-)Woodhawk:-) | stevedaytrader
10/4/2018 17:42 | My whole 2018-19 £20K ISA went into HGM yesterday and today. | woodhawk
10/4/2018 16:58 | Just a thought- if anyone hasn't sold £20k out of their stock and wacked it into their ISA and rebought, not a bad idea... I know obvious to most, but just in case... Fingers crossed the painful bottom was reached! SR- massive game tonight, I've no tickets :-(, but will be glued to BT Sport... | stevedaytrader
10/4/2018 16:36 | 2 tons of concentrate produce about 1 ton of the metal. As well as Gold, HGM's Nonoshirokinskoye mine produces around 4,000 tons of Zinc x $3,200 per ton = $13mln and 10,000 tons of lead x $2,300 per ton = $23mln and 1mln oz of Silver at $16 per oz = $16mln. This mine produces between $50mln and $60mln of commodities other than Gold. As a gold miner HGM is quite a diversified miner. | loganair
10/4/2018 16:22 | Bouncing now! | sclper
10/4/2018 15:05 | L Sorry was it the land they are looking to develop then? I am sure they bought something from them. Maybe I should do my own research. ========= Micex 10 Up 3.88% poly 9.6%, come on hgm really. | srpactive
10/4/2018 15:03 | The Novoshirokinskoye mine generate zinc and lead concentrate with a yearly output in the range of 8,000 to 9,000t of zinc concentrate, 20,000 to 28,000t of lead concentrate, 35,000 to 40,000oz of gold and 800,000oz to 1 million oz of silver. HGM bought the JV out from Kazzinc. | loganair
10/4/2018 14:56 | L Was it from Barrick? Maybe they should buy it all back for a song, lol, dyor. | srpactive
10/4/2018 14:54 | Russia's RTS up now nearly 5.5%. | loganair
10/4/2018 14:53 | I do not think HGM will go for a full JV. Their Novoshirokinskoye mine was originally a JV and they bought the other company out. More likely would make sense to split the cost of the infrastructure needed. | loganair
10/4/2018 14:51 | C47 Yes makes sense, W/SC Good luck, agree this is silly now, dyor. | srpactive |
