17/1/2014 22:15 | Thanks Ben, I hadn't realised that about CFD's economic interest only. Shows Soros with 7.32% in September 2013. I've looked at the RNS again and I think they are sells or reduced economic interest. The trade on the 14.1.2014 has an economic interest of circa 5.49% and the trade disclosed on the 15.1.2014 is only 3.74% quantum reducing or creating a smoke screen IMO :-) | praipus
17/1/2014 20:18 | They are buys P, but a bit misleading as CFD's don't come with voting rights, however they show on the RNS that they have allocated the size of the order by showing it as a % of voting rights! Ben | 27ben
17/1/2014 20:09 | Quantum fund at it again but I cant decide if these are buys or sells :-) IGR holdings | praipus

02/5/2013 17:33 | P - I see you have Soros/Quantum holdings in P.No.1 Another of his more recent holdings is the 5.7% stake bought in propco Development Securities (DSC). He bought in Jan'13 at the current share price of c147p. The share price jumped quickly by c15%, but has retreated back to his entry level over the past two months. The prelims and webcast yesterday confirm the great value - a 41% NAV discount. Plenty of analytical chat on the DSC thread. | skyship

15/4/2013 16:33 | Taken from ACD's Annual Report to 31st Dec'12: ==================== Performance Review: During 2012, the net asset value per share increased by 9.7 per cent to 103.38p (taking account of dividends paid). Total shareholder returns were also up 9.7 per cent comprising a share price increase of 4.5p to 86.0p and total dividends of 3.43p paid during the year. This once again makes AcenciA the best performing listed fund of hedge funds over one, two and three years, on both an absolute and risk adjusted basis. ==================== For Q1'13 ACD grew its NAV by 3.81% I'm sure most of us on this thread already hold ACD; but if not, then time to take a detailed look at the ACD thread. They are in liquidation mode and look likely to return 14%-15%pa over the next two years to liquidation in Q1'15. | skyship

15/2/2013 12:46 | Picked some up this morning good arb opp think should be at least another 5% in this trade short term. | bisiboy
15/2/2013 08:18 | Good news I think. I think a Fledgling strategy was a reasonably good one in that there are some excellent under-priced companies in the index, but there is also some rubbish. The managers at Henderson on this trust are not the best. A move to Diverse Income Trust is a better move, I think + the discount should disappear. | topvest
