Found this on the AGQ thread:

"McDosh - 11 Mar'11 - 10:23 - 18597 of 18692

Second-rate Doom. Marc Faber is the original and has been right far longer, and does a charming Doctor Evil impersonation along the way.

24mins of words of wisdom from the guy,
- who runs the worlds biggest hedge funds
(& who very rarely gives interviews)

Ray Dalio, founder & CIO of Bridgewater Associates, runs the world's largest hedge fund with $89 billion under management,( returning more for the fund's investors last year than Google, Amazon, Yahoo and eBay combined ).
- impressive !

Here is the article that prompted my investment in PTM

I am an Orcadian. I am a novice investors and so follow mainly guru investors that have shown that they can make shrewd investments long-term in good and bad market conditions.
I also hold a small number of UK stocks such as MML, CHAR, FSG, XPP and PAF. Until last week I also held DOM. Please note that I only got into those stocks because of dasv, simon gordon and c2i on the SHA thread. Followed by the fact the stocks also have some institutional investors.

Hi seekerofvalue,

Thank you for your comments. All done please check post 1 to see if I've added the right ones.

Interesting approach are you US based? Why US stocks only?

Were any of these the source for your PTM/PLG info?

Praipus, this a great idea for a thread. I am a novice investor and buy primarily US stocks that have a least 3 funds or hedge funds or guru investors in the stock. I don't tend to bother with commodity stocks, but I belatedly found an article that stated that George Soros is invested in Platiunum Group Metals TSE:PTM US:PLG. So I made a modest investment also.
Will you add PTM to your list?
