27/2/2014 07:46 | Well I think HHR have tax losses from previous years is that right KNIGEL? | bc4
27/2/2014 07:45 | The acquisition is therefore on a PE of 7 - seems good value especially if the "merger" generates additional profits/savings in years ahead | knigel
27/2/2014 07:42 | "Why issue shares as part payment for the acquisition?" I see the shares as an incentive as they are linked to performance. If they hit their forecasts then they get an investment in the larger group. Main question is how does £35m rate as an acquisition price? £7m pbt, what is that after tax? £5m? I'd welcome some views on this. TIA | greenroom78
27/2/2014 07:40 | I expect so ant but in these markets lots of results have been sold off. This is such good news that it shouldn't happen here...... | cestnous
27/2/2014 07:40 | I think more acquistions will be forthcoming and this is just the start. really good figures imho and mnagement doing a great job. gla | andyview
27/2/2014 07:37 | C'est nous Blue only today | ant15
27/2/2014 07:30 | Didn't spend as much as I expected on the acquisition either. Let's see what it does to the price today. | cestnous
27/2/2014 07:28 | The earnings per share seem high for £ 4 million profits - must be based on the average share issue in the period as it's 2.7 billion now? £ 16 million profit based on 2.7 billion shares equals eps of circ 0.6p so PE of 11 - so probably some mileage left yet! Why issue shares as part payment for the acquisition? There's more than enough cash on the books - unless further acquisitions are planned? GLA | knigel
27/2/2014 07:27 | The beauty about the deal is they have already worked with them for 5 years so they know exactly what they are all about | bc4
27/2/2014 07:26 | +12p imo, more like 15p for a forward PE growing this fast. | manics
27/2/2014 07:22 | The new acquisition made profits of £7m added to a current profit of say £9m means that the current PE (not including the cash left after the deal ) is effectively in single figures. They still seem well undervalued, and are probably worth more like 10-12p !! | parsons
27/2/2014 07:21 | Very good news today Increased profitability a superb acquisition and we still have the Autofocus compensation to come. No doubt someone will do the figures on this but we have to be looking at projected profits on consolidation of circa £16 million which makes this a very cheap buy now. | ant15
27/2/2014 07:13 | Double bubble. Stellar results and an acquisition. | manics
27/2/2014 07:07 | ...well aren't I clever. | manics
27/2/2014 07:06 | Wakey wakey, news out! | bigbigdave
27/2/2014 06:44 | Go on then, I like a little flutter. I say today. 15 mins or so! | manics

26/2/2014 15:33 | Dlku your right it did but I could only tell you what I was seeing at the time someone sold 300.000 straight after | bc4
26/2/2014 15:28 | Lots of large buy trades this afternoon. Results tomorrow? | bains123
26/2/2014 13:17 | Mind you I wasn't expecting much info from HHR in last February's results, and we got rather good news on the debt restructuring. So you never know. No real clues in the share price yet though. | nicky name
26/2/2014 12:12 | bc4 26 Feb'14 - 08:22 - 5715 of 5716 0 0 L2 looking very strong could be about to move yes it moved down | dlku
26/2/2014 11:58 | Helphire is not fond of communicating with its small shareholders, and this is unlikely to improve now it is on AIM. I will be impressed if there is any news on Autofocus or what it is doing with £60 mill. Clearly the institutions know, which is why they stumped up. It would be nice if they told us! In the usual absence of any hard info, I too GUESS that results will be announced tomorrow Thursday. I hope that this time there is some news rather than the usual reiteration of old statements about potential progress. | nicky name
26/2/2014 08:22 | L2 looking very strong could be about to move | bc4
26/2/2014 02:09 | Has the board just turned into a onty python sketch? | deanowls
25/2/2014 23:46 | Well by saying end of FEB it allows them a few days leeway for any news. Just in case anybody did not know On 27 November 2013, Helphire indicated its intention to announce a second interim dividend for the current year with the publication of its results for the six months ending 31 December 2013 and that the Board expected the second interim dividend to be 0.171 pence per ordinary share (approximately GBP2.7 million in aggregate). The Board confirms that the second interim dividend will be 0.171 pence per ordinary share and that it will now be brought forward so that it is paid on 10 January 2014 to those shareholders on the register at the close of business on 13 December 2013. In addition, in the absence of unforeseen circumstances, the Board intends to announce a third interim dividend for the current year in late February 2014 when releasing its results for the six months ending 31 December 2013. Any third interim dividend will be payable in March 2014 | bc4 |
