18/1/2014 20:03 | Hi bc4, if they were about 69% of shares is issue then they will reduce the dividend from ongoing operations by 69%. I would need to do the maths properly, but I suspect Autofocus will be a lot less than 0.4p, but hopefully the placing shares will recover that back again and leave us back to where we were or better, so I'm pretty relaxed about it. The worst thing that can happen is if they don't spend the £60m pretty quickly as that will really hit the yield. Either way, Autofocus will still be positive, just a pity it wasn't done last year before the placing as the new shareholders will get their share of it now. | goliard
18/1/2014 18:42 | Hi goli the placing shares were about 69% of issued capital at the time so I don;t think the divi will be halved maybe 60/70% since July they have paid out .445p so worst case with the autofocus settlement could still be .4p in the year that is not taking into account increased profit forecasts, all very interesting stuff correct me if you disagree | bc4
18/1/2014 18:12 | If the 60 million Cant add 0.1p to the dividend why bother? | barnes4
18/1/2014 17:52 | Hi bc4, I think you are forgetting the extra shares issued as part of the £60m placing. As a rough estimate it will halve the dividend per share from ongoing operations. I'm not worried by that as long as they increase EPS by buying something that makes a decent yield on the £60m. Of course they might pay an increased dividend out of capital, ie the cash they have from the placing, but I'm not a fan of that as it is a bit of a ponzi type thing to do. | goliard
18/1/2014 16:37 | KNIGEL yes 0.18p plus maybe 0.32p and that's were I get around 0.5p divi all in all this is building up very nicely don't forget the last management statement The Group is being invited to participate in an increasing number of commercial and other opportunities which, if consummated, could provide a platform for more SIGNIFCANT GROWTH in the future | bc4
18/1/2014 14:20 | £5m divided by 2.7 billion shares equals 0.18p - not quite as big an impact as when there were only 330 million shares. The upside of course of having such a large share issue now is that debt has been repaid and the company has £60 million to make acquisitions. Once corporate action is confirmed - I reckon this will have more of an impact on the share price than the Autofocus settlement (unless it is far higher than £5 million) A tie up could put 1-2p on the share price gla | knigel
18/1/2014 14:16 | Hang on £5m is still more than 6 months profits add that say to £9m profits for the year HHR could still pay out maybe .5p in divis this year if autofocus settles, that is over 8% yield at current share, only my opinion we will see, this management know what they are doing | bc4
18/1/2014 14:04 | Agreed, the Autofocus settlement will not be so significant now because when it first came to light there were 330 million shares in issue and now there is 2.7 billion shares in issue. It will be good to see the 6p level broken and I still feel 10p might be a fair target on an one year view gla | knigel
18/1/2014 13:58 | I still haven't sold a share of these since I first started investing in them at 3p and I am still bullish, but I think people are overestimating what Autofocus settlements will bring. I believe that £5m total is about right and with the current number of shares in issue that just adds a small amount to any dividend. I am much more interested in what they will spend the £60m on as that is much more important in my opinion. Great to see us testing 6p and with the right acquisition we should start moving well past that. | goliard
18/1/2014 11:45 | Nice one fingers :o) I still see a potential gap on the chart to 13p | bigbigdave
18/1/2014 11:40 | HHR's new personal accident legal services business should be generating some useful revenues in 2014. Also the Autofocus data was released in June 2013, so it should lead to some large settlements being paid to HHR in 2014. | sunray5
