Nothing to be concerned with easy operational procedure. Rudyland still on track all fully funded with plenty left in the tank. Highest H levels he's ever seen flowing to surface. Game on

"minor setback" , seems positive

10%-11% hydrogen in the mud flowing of the well

And confirms fully funded for everything going forward

Cyber my thoughts too especially considering the original estimate for the 2 wells was $5 million which they managed to beat down to $4.1million, Worth noting too that the drill took about half the original estimated time of 4 weeks. Therefore a bit of saving there too.

We have identified significant shows of helium across all target formations, confirming the presence of a robust helium system within the Amsden, Charles, & Flathead sandstones.oops back to significant

@hooded claw

They didn’t say “upto 4 weeks”, they said
“may take approximately a month to source and mobilise”.

My reading is that in around a month they expect the work to BEGIN.

I’m no longer invested here having traded in and out over the last week so I don’t have any skin in the game and no short term desire to get back in as it’s just going to drift whilst the above plays out.

19/8/24 RNS
Helix Exploration, the helium exploration and development company focused on helium deposits within the 'Montana Helium Fairway', is pleased to report the identification of significantly elevated helium in drilling mud (a "gas-show") within the Amsden and Charles formations.

28/8/24 RNS
Elevated helium encountered in drilling muds throughout the sedimentary column demonstrates presence of helium within all target horizons.

3/9/24 RNS
The well has been secured with a cement plug and retrievable packer until it can be completed. The Company will keep the market informed with a definitive forward timeline as soon as possible.

Maybe just best to seal it and pretend there was commercial helium there? Significantly elevated, to elevated to plugged. In two weeks.

Jung ...the $4.1m was reduced due to speed of drilling so will the new rig push it back much past that ? Who knows ...need HEX interview to explain things in greater detail IMHO

Yes, UP TO 4 weeks, and seeing the way these guys get on with it, it will probably be LESS than 4 weeks.

Have you seen a RNS saying they have sourced a rig yet?Fancy, when they signed the rig, they did not put in a clause that they could keep the rig for a month longer in case of any problems.Bad management, hence you are in this mess

Staying here as am still in good profit. Imo operations will resume in less than 4 weeks. This is Montana, USA not Rukwa , Tanzania. I need not say more

Although I admit I have no expertise in this, I suspect that the new rig for say a week's use down to a moderate depth, will probably no more than $500k maximum. Unfortunate of course, but far from disastrous, always assuming it's successful in the repair casing.

You have at least a 4 week wait before drilling resumes. In that time, the share price will have further lows as money taken out and put into more promising alternatives like HE1, which postive EWT results this week.

For all those new the company has plenty cash having raised $9 million at ipo.Yes the $4.1 million budget will increase due to the source of new rig for a few days of operations but by not much."Combined budget cost of the two well programmes are estimated at approximately $4.1m which demonstrates the potential for the Company to operate cost-effective exploration and development within the state of Montana"

worraps - the RNS confirmed existing funds will be sufficient to cover this extra cost.

But it didn't spell out what the extra cost was (and therefore by how much Hex's reserves have been depleted). Which will have repercussions further down the line (albeit possibly not horrendous ones)!

"Activities at the Clink #1 well will pause for a period of circa one month whilst mobilising a rig to set intermediate casing over the Mowry shale at ~2,100 feet."No nothing will happen for 30 days after 30 days they will try to remedy..

The plan is there in the RNS, which also confirmed the funds are in place already.
