adw198 - as you say, you’re both speculating at this stage, so neither of you knows the outcome yet.

Maybe it’s time to stop bickering now & just exercise a bit of patience. We’ll know soon enough whether the levels are commercial or not.

The one thing that did surprise me yesterday is that Bo wasn’t trotted out to give his assessment on the latest developments. He’s seen by most investors as the more experienced (despite Minchin being a veteran too) and is clearer in his delivery due to Minchin’s unfortunate speech impediment. All credit to David though for fronting so many interviews. It can’t be at all easy for him, yet he carries on with a permanent smile.

Perhaps we’re talking at crossed purposes. I can and have acknowledged there is Helium, so of course I’m not suggesting anyone is lying. So we both accept there is Helium.

Is there Helium at sufficient levels to make it commercially viable to extract it is the question that matters (to me) and specifically did ydays RNS provide any reasons to think that’s now more likely? The previous RNS spoke of significantly elevated levels, which to my reading is more positive than elevated levels. I think that was also reflected in the general tone of the RNS and indeed the interview.

My analogy would be an oil explorer finding small amounts of oil. You could come on rejoicing they’ve found oil and I’d ask whether it was in sufficient quantity and quality to make it commercial a success. A couple of weeks ago the CEO spoke of the best levels hes ever seen, I don’t think the chairman was anywhere nearer as bullish.

At this stage neither of us knows, we’re both here speculating.

Adw ... no that's not just it. They have stated they have found elevated helium levels at all targets. Everything is going to plan and the hydogen is an extra that will give a good boost to the bottom line with minimal outlay.

I could keep saying this until I am blue in the face so this will be the last reply on the subject and I will wait for wireline RNS next week.

If I’ve understood correctly your argument is it’s because they haven’t abandoned it prior to full analysis. Is that rofjt??

Increase my confidence ? That they are carrying on with wireline and EWT. Everything going to plan so far and of course he has to hold back as they don't have all the info yet. We will know more in less than a week and I am happy to wait.

Logging is underway this week with results early next week then casing and straight into a 30 day EWT completed before the end of Sept. Then straight to the next Drill, Rudyland which has a Higher COS. Once drilled they will follow the same steps to complete EWT. Both wells are being production completed and talks will continue with off take customers and production developments. No messing with this BOD. Bo Sears used his own cash to get these plays. Their pledge to never dilute investors. DYOR

@hooded claw - I saw it, yes. I saw him say he was optimistic (not confident) and was keeping “fingers and toes crossed” to announce a discovery”. I also spotted the tone of the RNS.

What exactly did you see today that increase your confidence?

Hopefully a TR1 before end of the week will clear up the seller. You can't always judge news by first days reaction. I was in a share where they had great news and it ended up down on the day. The next day it motored. I am more than happy to wait a few trading days to the wireline results (not sure why AI autocorrect wanted to keep changing wireline to wifelike)

They can't say anymore than they already have as they don't have all the answers yet. So far there is nothing to prove what they thought was there isn't there. The hydrogen was a bonus so today's news IS positive IMHO The start of the proof will come next week so you can either sit on the sidelines or take a holding and wait.

The question remains is it commercial - I’m genuinely trying to understand what it is about today’s RNS that makes anyone think it is?

A discovery of commercial helium ( hydrogen a bonus) hopefully late next week.Then onto 30 days ewt. Then comes the Rudyard drill in Q4.Am happy with today's news and hopefully we get good news next week.

@roykeane I agree people are either putting their heads in the sand or talking their book. There’s obviously lots more analysis to do but the only thing that matters is whether it’s commercially viable. “Optimistic221; was the word chosen in the interview, not “confidentR21;. Anyone on here claiming this is a banker is blagging.

We’ve seen typical AIM stuff today, anyone not swallowing the rampers incessant hype being dismissed as a deramper. But it was best summed by people parroting an anonymous Telegram source as evidence that the news was actually great and the RNS was badly drafted.

Fwiw I sold half my holding for a minor profit @21.85 and then bought it back at 19.80p.

You can put your heads under the sand, i dont think they were expecting reduction in helium shows.Remember he1 p50 was 150bcf for hex its only 2.3bcf in comparison. So we cant compare price action.

thehitman1 - market consensus is obviously it's not "very positive news".

It's not negative either. Just inconclusive for the time being. Which in this sort of market means the share price tends to drift.

Plenty of news to come over the next few days & weeks, which should really move the dial (either up or down).

They reached TD last friday, its wednesday why did they take so long to inform mkt.Also they were happy to show "background levels" of other zones why not mention the "background levels" for flathead zone?Im surprised BO didnt do the interview..
