Are people having trouble reading Elevated helium readings were encountered throughout the Cambrian strata from 6,815ft (2,075m) to TD, which includes the Clink #1 primary target - the Flathead formation. Following on from previously announced helium gas shows in the Amsden and Charles formations (19 August 2024), the Company has now identified elevated helium shows in all primary and secondary target horizons.

What does today's price action on #HEX indicate on such a presumably good RNS. Yes, its a "funny olde game" but think outside the box..

Yes it was the flathead was the primary zone at 7400ft.

I missed this bit on the first reading.

"Elevated helium readings were encountered throughout the Cambrian strata from 6,815ft (2,075m) to TD."

TD was 8,030ft. So that means a potential column of 1,215ft. That wasn't in the pre-drill plans. Very interesting.

For those that are confused why we didn't get any Helium readings like we did in the Charles formation
"The presence of hydrogen makes it difficult to verify ppm helium in the formation.
Gas chromatography - signals overlap
Mass spectrometry - H ions interfere with He ions
Thermal conductivity - both have high readings
Wireline logging needed..."
It is extremely positive we have had hydrogen found as well. It means we have to wait for the specifics on Helium but the added bonus could be VERY lucrative

FYI, the US Inflation Reduction Act allocates a production tax credit of $3/kg if hydrogen production meets 0.45 kg CO2eq/kg H2.
Which at 10.3%, this definitely would.
The highest possible PTC.

I think significantly elevated helium is better than elevated helium. If you think otherwise that’s fine. Do you think otherwise?

The high level of hydrogen at 10.3% is huge. Could be the carrier of the helium.Best to wait for the logs news soon

I realise we don’t know the specific levels, but the company themselves used different language this time, dropping the word “significantly”.

Seems pretty obvious there’s more hydrogen and less Helium than expected. I don’t pretend to know whether that make commercialisation more or less likely.
