I don't think some of the posters on here are up to speed with the modus operandi of the graphite/graphene businesses.

I think it's valuable information even without hard numbers, and to some extent it's also validation of the business model. They seem to be intent on making and selling products that incorporate graphene, whereas VRS for instance is more focused on selling the raw product for others to use.

Personally I prefer the added-value approach to the bulk commodity approach, but it will be interesting to see how the market develops over time.

Why they never put a value of the contracts in the RNS .... nothing was provided when they sold ink and nothing provided now, what is the point of this rns ...

Yes, this looks good:

'Paul Ogden, Senior Civil Engineer at National Grid, commented: "Over a six-year period, National Grid expects to install about 60 CTPs on the National Transmission System. This will significantly improve safety as well as creating savings of up to GBP5 million in the next five to 10 years." '

Anybody know what these things cost?

Jaknife,

Noted. Will be reviewing it over the next day or two - in order to stimulate my interest, took a nascent position today.

Jaknife,

It continues to burn cash and no quantum is ascribed to these deals - I previously looked at this and noted that you were bearish and excessively so. You now aver this is relatively undervalued against the sector - but, that does not imply that it is good value since the entire peer group is in my view at valuations not underpinned by much more than hope.

I have no firm view on Haydale at this level, was merely interested in your volte face.

The share price has gone from £2 to 2p. They have recruited a COO to restructure and
will now focus on commercials. 317m shares in issue is nothing, with the right news this could multibag several times. I think it’s a good bet. When you invest you take a chance and at 2p it’s not a bad bet. I feel for all the share holders who have lost a packet on this, but it’s definitely got scope to go higher imho.

Are you mad - have you looked at the track record? Is there the slightest sign of commercialisation?

meijiman - take a look at the cash burn, it's un-real! Also, it seems that Kevin Taylor/Jak has turned up (front for Shak and co) and so the shorters are now latched on to HAYD. Be very careful as these type of people will seriously damage you wealth if research hasn't been done!!

Beginning to look like a more normal stock with a tighter bid/ask on show of 2.15p v 2.20p and deal-able within.
