16/11/2017 22:24 | Nanotech results were uninspiring. So no nano company with a future???! | petewy
12/11/2017 13:10 | Nanotech report Thursday. Interested to see how it does. 56% of shares are owned by Institutions. I am not holding any nano shares which shocks me. | petewy
02/11/2017 11:34 | I doubt HAYD will meet those projections pie in the sky rubbish from Arden | the stigologist
02/11/2017 10:48 | Arden (Haydale’s new broker) have now issued an initation broker note on Haydale (dated 31st October). It comes with a buy recommendation and three price targets, reflecting three different scenarios: ...* Base: 172p/share ...* Upside: 228p/share ...* Max upside: 339p/share These values are derived using a 5-year discounted cash flow method. Arden also point out that when compared to most other quoted companies in the sector (Applied Graphene Materials, Directa Plus, Versarien, Graphene 3D lab, NanoXplore, Saint Jean Carbon) that Haydale shares look relatively cheap (based on a price to book ratio). Revenue estimates are £4.8m, £6.0m, £8.6m £11.0m £14.5m for 2018 thru 2022, with corresponding pre-tax profits of (£4.2), (£1.0m), £1.1. £2.6, £5.1. | timbo003
31/10/2017 20:08 | RNS - Legal & General buy close to 5% of Haydale. Happy days!! | bobby1904
27/10/2017 17:45 | SS, You are patently not a holder of equity in this company so why bother to post on this BB. You have nothing to say of any value to shareholders, you do not understand what this business is about. Your pseudonym says it all. FILTERED | knownowt
27/10/2017 11:50 | timbo in general you are absolutely right, but in this case shorting is more about the long term fundamentals than a quick trade ahead of a placing, of which there will be many more....shorting is risky given they can rustle up an rns that leads to a spike, but the more savvy investors i feel can see through that.... | savagedstock
27/10/2017 09:54 | Don't forget a lot of shares were held in crest which meant you could not apply for the placing in that way ,as the shares on the open market were only a fraction above the price of 120 it was not worth the bother of going through the process of applying | tel5
26/10/2017 18:34 | >>>>SS Today's announcement was not about a placing as you have inferred, it concerned the open offer component of an intended £9m equity raise. The company had previously announced that they had raised £6.9m in the placing part of the fund raise (they were originally going for just £6m) In the Open offer they were going for a maximum of £3m and raised £2.3m, so the total raised from the placing and open offer was £9.2m which is slightly more than the original plan (£9m). It can be quite dangerous shorting after a fund raise, for example Zoo digital raised funds this April via a discounted placing at 9p/share (in which I participated), the shares are now standing at over 60p/share. If you want to short something, surely you would be better off going short in anticipation a fund raise before it happens, rather than go short after the event? | timbo003
26/10/2017 13:17 | This has to be a short...only 75% take up on their placing. I cannot remember a time when a Broker did not raise the amount stated...So 1) maybe this area is really not as strong as people think...too much puff 2) little faith in management to execute - i would have thought that the CEO would quit immediately when he went for a cash raise but could not meet it...3) something else...like there's no real business traction or strategy...ultimatel | savagedstock
23/10/2017 13:03 | Timbo, more applicable here I think rather than posting on a board for a company with whom you appear to be at odds with. There was an update earlier today from one of the (graphene) competition which may be of some interest here: | phoenixs

19/10/2017 07:26 | See today's BBC breakfast which is reporting from Manchester's Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre. The BAC supercar (Haydale composites) is featured needless to say, no doubt there is more to come, perhaps an interview with Ray Gibbs? (Graphene article starts at 06:24) | timbo003
19/10/2017 07:24 | BBC Breakfast is featuring Graphene and the handover of the GEIC (graphene engineering innovation centre) to Manchester University NOW. Ray Gibbs has appeared already standing beside a BAC Mono. | knownowt
